Amazing, spacious 2BD townhome. Pool/Beach Club!

RichRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location was perfect! The beach was very close and there were many restaurants and shops just down the street. The inside was immaculate and was the perfect stay for my mom, daughter, and myself. There were so many amenities and items that were useful in the house, such thoughtful hosts. We would definitely stay again when we come back.

Private Pool - 180° Ocean View - Minutes to Beach

KarlRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sandra's place brings healing. It is beautiful, quiet, and serene. The views are lovely of ocean below, and the wind blows quietly through bows of citrus, avocado, and palms. There are likely multiple Walden Ponds on the Big Island of Hawaii, but this is one of them. Tranquility reins at this property.

Tropical Living in Oceanfront Resort 31

DonnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We just spent one month in this lovely, comfortable townhome and had to tear ourselves away. Very private and cozy. The complex is beautiful with lush gardens, great pool, pickleball courts and a gorgeous, uncrowded beach just steps away. The townhouse had everything we needed. Brad was a great and very responsive host. The overall location is just ideal. Shopping and restaurants nearby. The best Hawaii island snorkeling spot is just a few minutes walk away. If you play pickleball, there is a very nice and welcoming pb community that gathers every morning. We had a wonderful time and definitely plan on coming back.

Beautiful Home With Private Pool on Kealakekua Bay

The Pagoda House is a destination in itself! We explored the island from there, but also spent time just hanging out in the garden and pool. GORGEOUS! It was well appointed for our extended family gathering.

Kona Palm House 3 Bed/2.5 Bath with Pool

TrinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kona Palm is located in Kona Palisades, very quiet neighborhood. Very close to the airport and not far from Kailua Kona! The kitchen is very well stocked with kitchen needs and then some. Plenty of room for the ppl in your party to spread out. Bbq was ready to go including utensils. Pool is a decent size, water is cold!! Deck area can get slippery when wet. I suggest making sure you have life vests available if you have little ones/kids. We brought a pool water alarm just to be safe. View from top deck of Kona sun set, amazing!!! Both upper and lower deck had plenty of seating options. Front stairs (15 of them) are steep as are the inside stairs leading to the downstairs. No gate to block them for safety if you have little ones. We bought one and gave it to family when we left. There are some minor things in need of repair in the house. I notified Monica and took pics for her. Monica responds to texts timely. Overall a great place to stay!!

Direct Ocean Front Corner Townhouse AC Pickleball

PaulaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed the location. The property is a little older, but this unit is very well maintained and updated. The value would be very good for an extended visit. We hope to come back again for a longer visit to give us time to enjoy the tennis/pickle ball courts and other amenities. This is ocean front--literally feet from the proch to the ocean and views of the ocean from most of the rooms in the unit. Exceeded expectations

Spent our Spring break in Big Island. We stayed in Kona for 3 days at Jan's place. The location is very good. It is close to the beach, walking distance to many restaurant places. The property is very clean and quiet. The view from the apartment is very good. You get to see the ocean from the verandah, wake up to the sound of waves, can spend your evening by the while sipping a relaxing drink in the evening. The apartment is furnished with comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom. It had everything we needed for our stay. They also had provision for beach chairs, mats. towels which the guests can use. We were a party of 3 and found the apartment spacious enough to sleep comfortably and also relax. Jan was very responsive in all her communications. She gave us clear instructions as to how to get into the apartment (self check-in). She also had a information booklet in the apartment which the guests can use to find places to eat and activities that can be done. Will stay again.

5 Bdrm Trade winds, Airport and the Sea

CaitlinRating, 5 stars15 months ago
We had a wonderful stay. Jun’s place is exactly as described - very tidy, has all amenities needed and very organised. We were two large families coming from overseas, the split-level living options suited us perfectly. The living spaces were easy with the kids and balconies all maximised the amazing view from TradeWinds. The outside areas weren’t child-friendly - the back / sides contained sharp items of furniture and structures that made it hard for us to allow the kids outside. There was one proper grassy space but it was on the main road. Our kids were able to enjoy the indoor spaces and balconies when we were home, but they couldn’t really play outside. The location is wonderful from a view perspective - it’s ten mins drive (min) to anywhere but we didn’t mind. Jun is a very helpful and responsive host, as was his Property Manager Azusa. Overall we had a wonderful stay and Christmas. If you’re looking for an easy, large space with amazing views - you can’t go past TradeWinds.

Spacious Retreat in Kona - Paradise near Kona

HeatherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Caryl’s place was lovely!! Super-duper comfortable bed, nice table (we are board gamers so it was nice to have a surface to play on), fully-equipped kitchenette (no stove/oven but everything else), and a grill if we needed to cook. So many lovely touches — a travel mug for me to use, lots of tea (and an electric kettle so my tea wouldn’t taste of coffee!), coolers for our day trips, spices available to use, a sheet so the beach towels wouldn’t get too sandy. The bathroom was fantastic too. Highly recommend Caryl’s place… thank you, Caryl and John!

Ohana le'ale'a: Oceanview Lux Estate Pool / Hot Tub

DaleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We made great family memories here. My wife and I, son and daughter in law as well as 4 grandchildren from the ages of 10 to 16 were very comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean sunsets. The game room was a good gathering place during down times and the pool and hot tube were kept busy. I would recommend this place to any group and would stay again if it was available.

Wonderful neighborhood with a country feel, and nearby village. Loved the lanai with sunset views! Felt like we were in the "real" Hawaii and not just a tourist area. Wished there was a little more privacy with the bathroom and shower, but we accommodated.

Foster's Ohia Hale

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The view alone is magnificent - looked exactly like the photos. This is a cute casual space that is ideal for boho surfer types - it’s groovy with positive energy. Felt like we were staying in a friend’s spare room which was great with the ocean sounds right outside day and night. Longer stays you’d probably want more of a kitchen but we don’t cook so that’s fine. Not for folks looking for a more polished, generic feel. Hostess was incredibly responsive and super welcoming, which was a nice change from an earlier rental elsewhere on this island. Would recommend for a laid-back stay.

Kulalani at Mauna Lani Treasure w/ Beach Club Pass

AnnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely loved our recent stay. This area is only about a 20-25 minute easy drive from the Kona airport. The unit was clean, very spacious and totally met the needs of 6 people (two parents and four older teenager/young adults). The proximity of this unit to the pool and fitness area was a huge bonus. The unit was well laid out and had everything we needed for inside and outside. The bikes and beach items were fantastic to have and we used them everyday. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the proximity to stunning beaches was just great. The beach club we had access to was also fantastic. I would highly recommend this property and we will be booking here again.

Private Home with Ocean View

DawnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal areas. Anna and Jordy’s place makes for a good home base to explore during the days and relax at night. Hosts were communicative and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hawaii Vacation! Kailua-Kona Getaway

Just what we needed! Beautiful, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The grounds were lovely. It was a bit far from any restaurants or shopping, but not a big deal if you’re up for a good walk to town in the morning.

Cooks Landing at Hali'i Kai family vacation condo

MurrayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed 9 days at Jim and Kristi's and really enjoyed ourselves. We were 5 so the 3 bedrooms were perfect as we had lots of space and lots of beach toys, sporting equipment were provided. Played drop in pickleball on the tennis court Friday mornings as well. Pool access was a leisurely 10 min walk. The only recommendation for the pool area is to have umbrellas for the loungers. Thanks for the great stay!

Mermaid Studio by Kealakekua Bay!

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful four days at Jill's Mermaid Studio. Jill was out of town but Jason and Brian helped us with our every need. We enjoyed her friendly cats and chickens that greeted us in the yard. The outside shower is really cool! We walked the path to watch the sunset each evening. Manini Beach just a couple minutes walk around the corner is maintained by local conservation group so is super clean, and has an easy spot to get in the water to snorkel. We rented a kayak from Ehu and Kai ($80 for a double ocean kayak for 5 hours) to paddle over and snorkel at the Captain Cook Monument. If you want to do this it is very easy to sign up and pay right on their website and meet them at the landing just a block from Jill's place (other direction from beach). They provide a dry bag and life vests. Rent snorkel gear from them or bring your own. You can't land the kayak at the monument so you just pull it around behind you with a rope while you snorkel which was no big deal.
