Vacation rentals with a hot tub in James River

This was my first Airbnb experience and I was very happy that my friends and I stayed here! Du was amazing in communicating with me and left instructions on how to get in, sent a virtual pamphlet on local restaurants and things to do, and checkout was a breeze. The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need. There is a grocery and pharmacy right down the street too which came in handy. 10/10 would stay again!

Stay at this cozy mountain home for a little girls trip. Leah & Kyle were very kind, responsive, & helpful to any & all questions we had! Hot tub is very relaxing with the wooded scenery, along with the comfort of the screened in porch & comfortable beds! Conveniently located near all the activities Massanutten has to offer without being too close! The girls & I loved it !

We stayed at this charming home during our recent family ski break. The home is extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Jo was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the location. It is a few minute drive to base camp and walkable to the playground (huge plus with our kids). Each evening we could see deer just a few yards away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this house.

Perfect getaway for wintergreen! Great house, plenty of space. Fireplace and hot tub were perfect for those cold nights. There is an amazing overlook just up the road that’s perfect for panoramic Mountain View’s.

Absolutely a 5 star stay!! Super cozy home in a beautiful location with a great view. The home is stocked with everything you could need to feel right at home (and labeled, making things very easy to find!). Everything inside was also extremely clean and tidy. My friends and I would definitely book again for another girls weekend away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cinthia’s. Although the location is in a pretty remote part of town, there’s a lot to do on the property with a hot tub, fire pit, hatchet throwing, large grill, and hammocks to utilize. It’s on a pretty large piece of land so it’s great for dogs. If you do want something to do outside of the property, we went to a winery and Cider factory that were nearby and they were also very nice. Cinthia was extremely responsive and answered our questions usually within 5 minutes of asking them. The keypad entry was nice because we liked not having to remember a key; however, sometimes the keypad made it tricky to get in. Overall, I’d recommend it for anyone wanting a peaceful, quiet retreat.

Thank you Erik. We were able to enjoy our stay - had no issues. Erik came to check on us when we arrived and ensured that we had what we needed and knew how to use the provided electronics. Of course the hot tub was a fan favorite as well as the massage chair. We had a great stay!

The house was beautiful and beds were very comfortable. My family enjoyed the game room and the backyard. Great place to stay with family to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Great way to end our Spring Break!

The home was amazing. More beautiful than the pictures could show. I love the corner lot effect. Not far from restaurants, grocery stores and local shopping. I would rent it again. I recommend it 100%

My 5 sisters and I decided to do a winter trip this year and chose Massanutten ski resort. The house is about a 10 minute drive. House was exactly as described with plenty of space for all of us even when we needed some alone time away from each other, the house is big enough to do so! There was a plumbing issue on a Friday which was a little stressful, but Darwin was able to get someone out quick to get it taken care of. He was very quick to respond and even took the time to call to make sure he got accurate details of the issue. Will definitely keep his homes in mind if ever back in the area!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house was perfect for our family. It was convenient to Wintergreen resort and not far to some local restaurants. We enjoyed our time and happy with all that was offered. Ben was super responsive and willing to help with any questions.

Beautiful spot and gracious host. This was exactly as described, had all the amenities we could want, and Frank was incredibly clear in instructions, responsive and organized. We spent a lovely week in a gorgeous, soothing location with our pup — fully refreshed after only 4.5 days!

We had a fantastic time! The cabin was private, quiet, and stocked with everything needed for a cozy weekend getaway. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook in most meals. We will be back!

I had such a nice and peaceful time here! The amenities are fantastic, especially the game room and those hammocks under the stars—they're absolutely incredible! Corey is an amazing host and really makes you feel welcome. One tip I’d offer is to consider a 4WD vehicle no matter the season. If you're a new driver, just take it easy on the gravel road. Enjoy your stay!

This was such a nice cabin and had so much charisma for our winter trip. Cullin and Danielle were great with recommendations and providing basically everything you should need at the cabin. Views were incredible and any issues we had were resolved quickly.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The cabin is so peaceful and relaxing. We were in the area for an event, otherwise we would’ve loved to have spent every moment of the weekend enjoying the surroundings of the cabin. Beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Highly recommend.

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

We loved it. It was perfect for a night away from the kids and Farmville has some good restaurants and a great coffee shop for breakfast within 5-10 minutes driving. We're hoping to go back!

Amelia was a great host. My best friend and I went for a couple of night mom refresh and it was easy and refreshing. There is a lot you can do with a little better weather - canoe, hammock, kids playground. We enjoyed the hot tub, did a 1000 piece puzzle, and just the silence and serenity of no work and no dishes 😂. It was great and refreshing and now back to mom and work world. Will hopefully make it a quarterly event.

Spent the weekend up here for a quick getaway. It’s a beautiful cabin - location is great, it’s very quiet, and it was the perfect place to escape life for a couple of days. Loved it!!
