The Cottage at Eastwood Farm and Winery

JosephRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Fantastic spot to enjoy a weekend in Charlottesville. There is a place to sit outside underneath two large holly trees, and the location is right next to a wonderful winery. It was well situated to wineries in the area, grocery stores in Charlottesville (Wegmans is 5 minutes down the road), and also near Monticello-Saunders Trails (5 minutes down the road). My only complaint is some of the dishes/utensils weren't cleaned, presumably by previous renters.

Beautiful secluded 1BR apartment

LindaRating, 5 stars25 months ago
Great long term stay! Spacious apartment over a garage for our car and a new washer & dryer we really appreciated. Great value for $. Excellent zoned baseboard heat during cold weather. Be aware of the very steep exterior stairway though. Kurt is a fantastic host with excellent communication skills. If you have needs/questions don’t hesitate to reach out. Beautiful nearby hiking trails at Great Bridge Battlefield. Oak Grove Lake and Chesapeake Arboretum also have enjoyable trails. Highly recommend Bergy’s Breadbasket (farm market) on Mt. Pleasant east of Centerville for amazing shakes and sandwiches on homemade bread. Veteran owned Pale Horse Coffee is a must for us when in the area. And thank you for your service Kurt and Traci!

BrightEyes Alpaca Retreat Farmville ,Virginia

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 days ago
What a lovely spot to call home! The setting was beautiful and peaceful! Cindy and Bill were so helpful and friendly and easy to work with. Their Airbnb is so nice and inviting. It is decorated so cute with memorabilia from the local colleges and their cute alpacas. The shower was wonderful and the bed so comfy. I really liked the blackout curtains for those mornings to sleep in! I really enjoyed my time and would stay here again!

Hebron Valley Cottage

WilliamRating, 5 stars2 months ago
David’s place was fantastic! It felt like a little house on the prairie. The house was absolutely spotless! Very quiet. My favorite thing though was without a doubt the view as you step out the front door. It was breathtaking!! The rolling blue ridge mountains and an endless field was right up our alley!! Thanks David!!!

Homestead at HeartRock

johannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I had the most amazing time disconnecting from the world at the guesthouse at BearRock in Schuyler, VA this February. We were lucky enough to experience our first snowstorm, and it was truly magical! The entire property covered in fresh, white snow looked like a dream—absolutely breathtaking. Greg and Kim were incredibly kind and attentive hosts, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our visit even more special. And we can’t forget Bilbo, the kitty cat—he is the most welcoming host of all! If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature’s beauty, this is the perfect place. We highly recommend it—100%!

First of all, Anne and Jim were exceptional hosts. The place was so peaceful and beautiful. I brought my 2 dogs and Anne actually took them for a walk on the trails while I was at work during the day. I absolutely loved this house and will definitely use them again if it's available.

Charming Yorktown Battlefield Cottage

LaurieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were looking for a private cottage/cabin for a quick anniversary getaway. When we settled on taking a trip to Yorktown, we found this lovely little spot and booked it right away. It was the perfect place to be away from everything, but was also close to tons of historic sites! We loved our visit, and can't say enough good things about our hosts. Thank you, Brad and David, for a wonderful time at your cozy cottage!

This home was great! The Beaver Ridge Pond Farm was beautiful and was really peaceful. My daughter loved the animals and being able to look right out of the window and see them anytime was an awesome bonus! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Unique Historic Home

LandonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Staying at Elizabeth's was a wonderful one day getaway! I wish we could have stayed more than one day. It's right across the street from a nice bistro that sells amazing cake! The neighborhood is beautiful and very walkable. Inside the house, it was very spacious and we loved all of the amenities. The massage chair, hot tub, and sauna were all so nice to have at your fingertips. A note on the sauna - make sure to turn it on and let it warm up before trying to use it! We were so close to downtown Roanoke and were able to have a nice rooftop dinner before coming back and closing out the night in the house! Elizabeth was also very friendly and responsive and helped with suggestions on local wines in the area! Elizabeth does have three dogs that can occupy the shared space with the hot tub and sauna, and they are very friendly and only come out sporadically. Mind your step as there is some dog poop, but they clearly make attempts to keep it clean. Overall, we would LOVE to come back!

Waterfront Cottage Retreat with Hot Tub

BethanyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I had an incredible experience at this property! It snowed close to a foot while we were there and it was truly magical. Once it stopped snowing the host even sent several men over to clear the walkways from the house to our cars and out to the road!! Truly above and beyond. The property has a ton of windows without curtains, so if that's something you're uncomfortable with make sure to take that into consideration before booking. I am a person who tends to feel extremely uncomfortable/vulnerable at night if there aren't curtains, but after the first night it truly didn't bother me one bit! It's difficult to explain, but the layout of the house allows you not to feel exposed at night in the areas without curtains. This property is a gem. If you book it for your next trip you won't regret it! My husband and I can't wait to visit again.

Luxury tiny house 3 min from UVA

StacieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My stay at Laura’s tiny home in Charlottesville was perfect. The moment I walked in, I was amazed by how beautifully furnished & decorated it was. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it a true home away from home. The home was spotless, which put me at ease. Laura provided all the appliances, utensils, dishware, & other items one could need for comfort & convenience. It was clear that a lot of care was taken to ensure guests would want for nothing. Laura & her husband were fantastic communicators & very responsive to any questions. Their dedication to providing a great experience was evident, especially when they went above & beyond by shoveling a path to my car & scraping the snow off my windshield, windows, roof, & hood. This incredible gesture was deeply appreciated. My experience at Laura’s tiny home was exceptional, & I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, & beautifully maintained place to stay in Charlottesville. 5 stars!!!

Cozy Lakeside Studio Retreat.

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our mini vacay after marriage and all we wanted was a beautiful natural area with a fire pit, and we stumbled upon a serious treasure trove. The pictures are great but once we got there it was just so much prettier than we had even expected. The outdoor area is HUGE and luxurious, even with it being winter we spent most of our time out at the fire pit chatting and looking out onto the frozen lake. We've both already decided that we'll come back during fishing/kayak season. The owners were also very nice, we woke up the second day to Josh having already cleaned out and reset the fire pit with tinder which was so incredibly nice and really helped make our trip exactly what we wanted. This place is awesome, neighborhood is super cute too. Could not recommend more

A Place of Peace

MarianoRating, 5 starstoday
APOP was great and really peaceful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The fridge and kitchen was stocked with water, sparling water, several options for tea and coffee, some cookies and chocolates! The area was nice and quiet but very near to stores, restaurants and the river. Mike was very welcoming and his recommendations for restaurants was spot on. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area.
