Vacation rentals with beach access in Jacksonville

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would love to extend a five-star review for Paul, even though I was unable to make my trip due to an ice storm in eastern NC. What was supposed to be a long weekend getaway was reduced to less than a day and a half, making the trip impossible. Paul was incredibly gracious and allowed a full refund, prioritizing the safety of myself and my child over rigid policies. His kindness and understanding made a disappointing situation much easier to navigate. I was so looking forward to staying at his oceanfront place in the winter—the solitude and peace of the beach during the off-season is my favorite. Plus, the south end of Wrightsville Beach is an absolute treasure. I truly hope the opportunity arises in the future to book with Paul again. His generosity and hospitality speak volumes, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at his place when I finally get the chance!

We had such a relaxing weekend getaway here! The beach access was so convenient and we really enjoyed how quiet the area was (the complex and the beach). My girlfriend is a germaphobe and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. We will be back!🙂

My husband and I wanted a long weekend getaway along with our senior dog and this place was perfect! As soon as we opened the door we were impressed by how inviting the home looked. It had everything we could need (plenty of towels, beach gear, etc.). The beach is very close by and we enjoyed long walks, swimming (the water temp was fantastic - 78F in mid-October), and then relaxing on the deck. Thank-you for a lovely getaway.

The condo was great! Clean and beautiful! We loved the pools and being right on the beach. A great vacation spot!

The unit was nice,everything needed was provided. We did notice something that needs addressing.When the switch for the ventilation in the first bathroom was turned on,the overhead light in the master bath switched off. Also,the outlet on the wall by the counter between the bedrooms,isn’t tight.When you plug anything into it,it’s very loose.I’m saying this,because it could become a safety hazard. Otherwise,we enjoyed our stay,and Brittany took great care of us.

Teresa was an amazing host. The communication was fantastic from the time I booked to check out. It’s a beautiful space and extremely peaceful. Just perfect! We were there for a wedding and unfortunately did not have much time to truly enjoy the area. If/when we go back to this area, we will absolutely book here again! Teresa made sure we had everything we needed. She truly went above and beyond. We had a lovely welcome note, a few of our favorite beverages waiting in the fridge and a homemade treat. I highly recommend!

The Brookshore house was a perfect winter getaway for my family of 2 adults, 2 kids, and our dog. The views of the ocean were spectacular from the back deck and the sunrise each morning was amazing. The house was privately located on the beach but only a short drive to the pier, restaurants, and grocery store in Surf City. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook for the week and we had plenty of space in the dining/living area each night for entertainment purposes. We stayed here in the Winter so the water was too cold to swim but we made the most of the beach and the back deck. We will definitely be back to stay in the near future. Kate is an amazing host and was very helpful with any questions we had about the area.

LuAnne’s place was absolutely beautiful! The home is completely furnished with everything we needed, kitchen is fully equipped, and the entire home is immaculate. We enjoyed the decks and view our entire stay. Short walk to the beach and to a few local restaurants. I would highly recommend LuAnne’s home and our family would love to return. She was responsive during our entire vacation.

Perfect stay in EI. Close to the tackle shop, groceries and anything else you need. House is on a quiet street with a quick walk to the beach. Beach cart provides ability to tote all the things to the beach. Great backyard for hanging out with a great grill with all the utensils and a spare tank. Clean as can be and a great space. Andy is a great host and you won’t be disappointed. We will be staying again. Memories made!

Our stay at The Little House was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the stunning ocean views and the calming sound of the waves just outside. Waking up to the sight of the sea each morning felt like a dream, and the serene atmosphere made for the perfect escape. The home was cozy, well-appointed, and just steps from the beach. If you're searching for a peaceful retreat with unbeatable views, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

This was the perfect getaway spot! Far enough to have your own peace and quiet but just right down the road from great restaurants and bars. We had such a wonderful time and Preston was an incredible host. The views were breathtaking and the house felt like home away from home. Thank you again for letting us stay! We hope to be back soon.

What can I say about this visit?! We had to cut our visit short because of Tropical Storm Debby but Alex was so responsive and helpful we could not ask for a better host. This is our second year and love the area. House has everything for great beach days including bikes! You do not need to bring anything for the beach. The house is homey and stocked with kitchen items and plenty of towels and linens. We will be back.

The home was comfortable and inviting with a great view of the Sound and only a block from the beach. It was exactly what we needed for a short getaway and some R&R.

This was our 4th stay at April's place in North Topsail. My 2 sisters and I live in different parts on the state and Topsail is about 4 hours for all of us so it works well. We like to go in October and then in late February or March. It's the only time we can all be together, just the 3 of us. Her home is everything we need and is always spotless with great attention to detail. April is quick to respond with any questions I have and tries to be as accommodating as possible. We hope to continue our tradition!!

Wendy’s place was perfect for our holiday! Location was easy to find and convenient. The place was exactly as described and very clean. There was enough room for our party of five. It was furnished nicely, very clean, and there was a great selection of games, even though we didn’t have a chance to play. There was even a workstation in the master bedroom if you needed it. The condo is close to Ft. Macon State park and our grandson enjoyed it very much. We would definitely stay at Wendy’s place again!!

Very nice place and the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of extras and it was a short walk to the beach. The area was very clean and very safe feeling. Grocery store, restaurants ice cream souvenirs all within a mile away. Host was excellent, in communication and very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Would highly recommend! This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and the stay here made our visit worthwhile. Its walking distance to the beach so I loved that we could just walk over after breakfast! The condo was clean and all the listed amenities were available. John was also very responsive and worked with us through the whole booking process!

My wife and I really enjoyed our vacation to Atlantic Beach, and Season’s well-appointed condo was a big reason. The kitchen is well-equipped for any guest who wants to cook during their stay. It was also nice to have walk-out access to the balcony from both the living area and the master bedroom. Another big advantage was the location. It’s located far enough down the highway to be away from the traffic congestion, but still a relatively short drive to restaurants in the area. Also, we loved hiking eastward down the beach to enjoy the naturally-preserved areas in Fort Macon State Park. Next time we plan a visit to the area, we’ll definitely be reaching out to Season to re-book !!

This condo is an excellent value and in a great little condo community- very peaceful ! Great first-floor location equidistant between boardwalk to beach and the pool. Also just across the hall from the laundry room. Decorated with a fun, beach vibe and perfect for a family with young kids!

Jim and Nora were excellent hosts. They communicated so quickly. The condo is soooo clean and comfortable. Being a sea turtle lover, I felt very at home with the decor. This condo is so very close to the beach and made it so convenient for us to just go whenever we wanted. We brought binoculars and were able to see the comet each night right from the deck. The deck has an ocean view and a great place to sit and relax with coffee in AM and wine at night. We were lucky to have great weather. It was off season so Jim and Nora let us in earlier and let us leave later. What a great weekend at a beautiful place that had everything we needed! The hosts were so welcoming and generous! We will happily be back!

Long weekend birthday weekend. Condo was as described with a great view of the ocean. Had a slight issue with keypad not working but Host responded very quickly and issue was resolved immediately.
