Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Island of Palms

The Surf Shack was a fantastic place for us, we were 4 adults and one toddler. The house was fully equipped and the pool was fantastic. If I ever find my way back to Folly Beach, hopefully we'll be able to stay again. Thank you.

Very responsive host. Charging stations and outlet blocks were some of the detailed touches we enjoyed during our stay. Location was convenient to popular spots around Charleston.

We were excited to stay at Fort Johnson because it was close to our family's house. There was plenty of room for us and them to have dinner and watch tv on the big couch. We enjoyed the clean kitchen and well appointed appliances although the coffee maker seemed to have failed. We did a wash or two. We enjoyed the smart tvs and found past renters had left their log ins active. We logged everyone out when we left. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch although the afternoon traffic was a little too loud. We sat out back when we could although it was in the shade and too cool most days. What was wrong was the inconvenience of the pool repair which spanned our visit. I don't think this was a big problem for us as it was so cold we didn't plan to go swimming. We did use the hot tub nightly after the workmen left. If we visit the family again I certainly will try to rent Fort Johnson again. We had fun.

My friend and I had the best time at Travis’s place. It was a birthday get away for me so we enjoyed the hot tub and the vibe! The house is clean, older, and well kept! We noted that the shower is a tight squeeze (we both are about 5’4) but not too bothersome. We spent most of our time in downtown Charleston and the hot tub! The neighborhood itself is gorgeous- I would just note that the area can get a little sketchy in certain parts when driving around so we most certainly remained aware of our surroundings though this did not hinder our fun! Travis had all of the recommendations and even explained a bit about the decor that was in the house. Such a cool host and sweet little set up! For being the back of the house- we felt extremely safe and Travis gave us our space and privacy. Maddy and I agreed that we would return if ever in the area!

So quiet and quaint beautifully placed within 50 feet of the seashore adorably renovated home!! Easy access with deck and stairs with handrail to the ocean and the soft sand with your own private stairs to sit on and enjoy your coffee in the beautiful stairs facing the sunrise every morning. Modern furnishings spotless tip to tell dishes, organized, silverware, and place, everything pristine clean like a brand new home. The hot tub is an amazing touch and perfectly positioned. The sunroom is perfect for those brisk days. Should you be here during the colder months. Very responsive and efficient, AC and heat. High tech up-to-date alarm system and cameras in a noninvasive location, knowing that everything is secure and safe. The host and hostess are easily accessible in the response times were very very quick for the simple question we had. Tons of beach chairs, downstairs to take on the ocean and a very quiet private part of the beach towards the end, which is lovely! Georg-Mir♥

What a beautiful space with so much to offer! We wish we had more time at Mike’s place. Incredibly clean and homey. Great spot- near restaurants and beach. Next time we have to take advantage of the hot tub and kayaks!

Beautiful home with a wonderful view of the ocean and golf course. The house is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. There are about twenty stairs up from the garage or front entrance outside and another twenty from inside to bedrooms on third floor. There is no elevator and the description is accurate. We had an elderly person with us and it was difficult for them. It might not be good to bring a guest with mobility issues. There is plenty of parking for 4 or 5 cars. The beach is a 5 min walk from house to ocean. The only strange situation is the master suite does not have a closet available for hanging clothes. The owners have two doors locked in the master suite so the closet is probably one of them. Considering the cost of renting the house and the fact that you have to live out of your suitcase for hanging dresses etc. that should be changed. Apart from the small issues, it was a great home. If we can afford it, we would rent again.

Jeramey was a very responsive and great host. We needed hand soap and extra linens, and he responded right away and got us what we needed. He gave detailed instructions on how to handle the amenities so we had very few questions. The house is very spacious and more than enough room for our party of 8. Having a game room and hot tub made the stay even more fun. The house is about 15 mins from the airport, so the drive is smooth and not stressful. My girl friends and I had a great time!!!! This is a great house in a perfect location on Folly! You can walk anywhere you need to go including the beach and Center Street (with all the restaurants/bars/shops)! The house was super clean and very well furnished! We will definitely look to book again!

The home was decorated beautifully, right out of a magazine. So cozy and welcoming and we slept great. I loved all the decks and the screened in porch. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful views from both decks and rooms! Plenty of pillows and towels!
