Monthly Rentals in Hoctún Municipality

Rebecca's place is a little paradise in Izamal, the house is beautiful and it has two pools, one just beside the house and another one at the back garden which looks like a cenote. The decoration is so cute, you can tell a designer was involved. The only minor detail would be that the walls around the house are quite short and you can hear the neighbours, the house is a little further from town so you need a car, however, we felt pretty safe and would love to be back at this oasis.

Gina’s place is amazing. It gives off small hacienda vibes. Also, there is a huge Mayan pyramid around the corner from the house. This was an added bonus since it was so unexpected to see it while making our way into town. Overall we wish we could have some more time here.

Had a great time at Edward's place in Izamal! It's in a great location (2 minute walk from the main square), very clean and Edward is an amazing host who made me feel right at home. Thanks again!

(1) The house and location is absolutely stunning. Very few people can say they stayed 15 feet away from a pyramid. (2) There are tons of restaurants, shops, services within 5-15 minute walk from this airbnb & Izamal is super safe any time of day or night. (3) The local restaurants & food is probably the best we ever ate & my family has worked & lived in India, Africa, Middle-East, China. (4) Izamal is a small town & highly recommend learning basic Spanish and/or Mayan, as trying to speak only english or other foreign languages will be difficult to navigate.
