Monthly Rentals in Hapugala

We were in Galle for a medical elective at the women’s hospital and stayed for two weeks. The location is perfect for students at the hospital. It takes 5-15 minutes to walk to all of the departments at the hospital. There are restaurants and supermarkets by walking distance. It is easy to get to the beaches by tuktuk and the closest beach is about ten minutes away. Rajitha was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. He showed us the closest supermarkets and some of the restaurants in the area. He also gave us a lot of tips on what to do during our stay. The place is clean and very fresh.

We spent 17 beautiful, peaceful days at Dinesh and Sumudu's beautiful home. The apartment itself is beautiful with a great sense of unique character, comfortable, and the plunge pools were a delight after tromping around all day. Every morning, Dinesh greeted us with a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, fresh fruit, tea, and wonderful conversation. We felt we had as much privacy as we needed, but also felt cared for as if we were old friends. An easy walk brought us to the main road, making bus travel easy, but if we needed a tuk ride, Dinesh was always able to help us. If I could give this stay one hundred stars, I would.

Absolutely recommended! We had primarily booked two weeks with Jacky and then stayed longer because we enjoyed it so much. Everything was super clean and cozy. The kitchen also has everything you need. Due to the location on the hill, you not only have a great view, but there is also a pleasant temperature. That's why we didn't need the air conditioning. We also especially liked the perfectly clean swimming pool, the sports room with ping pong table, the uncomplicated rental of the scooter and the freshly baked bread, which Jacky baked for us if needed. The bookable internet worked out very well and is great for working remotely. 4 Mbits were sufficient for us for HD video stream as well as trouble-free video calling. We felt like at home and can fully recommend the accommodation. Especially for longer stays it is perfect!

After travelling around Sri Lanka for 2 months we wanted somewhere peaceful where we could relax and this was the perfect place. This is by far the quietest place we have stayed and the entire view from our terrace was greenery. The room was very clean and the entire building and grounds were very well looked after. The kitchen was handy as there is only really one restaurant within walking distance. If you don't cook your own meals there were options on Uber eats for delivery and plenty of other places just a short tuk tuk or bus ride away. The staff were very friendly and we got to see monitor lizards, monkeys, plenty of birds, a frog and a small snake in the garden area. If you want somewhere quiet with nature on your doorstep but still with western style accommodation this place is ideal.
