Oscar's place is perfect, everything is super clean, the place is very comfortable the quick direction to get there. Oscar very attentive would be at his house again.

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and private, a serene hideaway in the rainforest while being close to La Fortuna attractions. We arrived later than expected and had to find the house at night, which was tricky. A helpful tip if you’re in the same situation: look for the driveway immediately after the bus stop on the left. The house was spotless, easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was well-stocked with everything we could need, including a Christmas tree! While the lack of rugs or wall coverings made it a bit echoey and sparse, it stayed wonderfully cool. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a fantastic space and a large table for dining al fresco. The pool was excellent and watching the wildlife was a treat, we even saw the sloth! One thing to note is the few friendly dogs who hung out around the property and marked the porch. While they weren’t aggressive, it’s worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, this was a fantastic place!

The place is quite nice, everything is just as shown in the photos, it has quite a few games to have fun and perfect communication. I recommend it and would come back again.

Great day with a very attentive host!

The location was safe and gated. There was a hiccup initially as we were provided instructions to access the wrong lockbox and we should have accessed a second lockbox. The house is 2 down from GPS look for solid silver gate. The place was as described and shown in the photos. There was a minor leak from the roof to the outside of the bathroom on the second floor. The a/c in the house was great and there was a unit in each bedroom. We also scheduled massages with the host. The ladies who arrived worked out all our aches from the many hikes we had from our adventures! Highly recommend!! We also did our laundry at the house there was a washer, dryer and detergent. Everything we needed including dishes, silverware, cups, soap, etc. There are some minor street noise from rowdy cars late night. There is a convenient store thats walkable near by. We were 10-20 minutes from all the major attractions. We would stay here if we ever visit La Fortuna again!

This spot was a little bit difficult to find, but don’t let that discourage you. The home was beautiful. The rooms are located outside. It is very close to downtown area. Definitely recommend this.

It's our second time staying in this house and we really liked it. Also it is a safe and very quiet place.

This Airbnb greatly exceeded my expectations. John was very responsive and would check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He was also so kind and thoughtful to add special touches to the Airbnb to help me celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. He made our stay extra special!! Thank you so much John!

My husband, 12-year-old son and I stayed for three nights at Sunset House and we really enjoyed ourselves. It's an affordable option for families with a great pool, hammock and outdoor space to relax after busy days visiting local attractions (even if there was some construction happening next door). We didn't think we were in the right place at first but our host was very responsive. Look for a big yellow pergola-style entrance off the main road. The gated entrance to the side street is a bit recessed and there's a guard. As for location, it's a bit off the beaten path but still close enough to attractions (15 min to Fortuna Waterfall, 20 min to hot springs, 30-35 min to Arenal and Mistico). You need a car to stay here. We appreciated the nice touches - cold water in the fridge, plenty of towels, tea/coffee. We grabbed a few easy meals from a fried chicken stand down the road and yummy empanadas from Restaurante Delicias Tablada just steps away. Overall, as advertised!

The place is simply beautiful, quiet, close to shops, the road is in excellent condition and easy to get to. We can't wait to go back to eating tortillas with cheese ❤️

The place is great. The place is extremely quiet, with several places nearby, clean and with spectacular views. Cristian was always attentive to any need and the pool was at a good temperature. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We had a great stay! When we arrived the internet wasn’t working and we needed more bed linens, but someone met us out there quickly and helped us. The location could not have been better! We felt so close to restaurants, tours, the La Fortuna Waterfall, El Salto and more. It was awesome! We also loved the pool! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home!!! It has a lot of privacy. Luis was very attentive and welcoming. Has a lot of space for out door activities. Very clean kitchen and bathrooms.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We loved the garden, hot tub and bbq area. Amilcar and his wife were so friendly and helpful a during our stay. It’s a perfect place for a couple or a four person trip. The internet was excellent, we worked online all week with no issues. Thank you to Amilcar for your hospitality! We will be back :)

Very nice stay, the house is very functional and impeccable even if it is not modern. The kitchen is very well equipped. The pool is very well kept, always clean. Neighborhood a little far from La Fortuna but we liked to be just away and quiet. This place is a great value and we recommend it without a problem.

The place was ideal to rest and disconnect. If you are looking for tranquility and contact with nature, this house is perfect. If the sky is clear, you can enjoy an incredible view of the volcano right from the garden. Our dog was the one who enjoyed the most: the environment is safe and the only sounds that are heard are those of nature. We were lucky to see toucanes during our stay from the garden of the house!
