Platypus Hills is a superb retreat! The home was perfectly equipped, clean and so comfortable! Danielle, Susie, Nancy & Dawn are perfect hosts! Available and friendly but respectful of your privacy. The setting is idyllic and provided me and friends a peaceful and relaxing get away that left us refreshed and re-energized. Just loved our time! Thank you all!

We loved the location as it was close to a family member’s house where we were celebrating Christmas. It fit our 3 families perfectly and cost much less than us all getting a hotel. Thanks for sharing your wonderful space!

The Baker's bungalow was exactly as described. It was classic, beautiful, and spacious. There was plenty of room for us to see our family as they came to visit. It was the perfect base to travel around central Illinois to see other family and friends. The one nitpick I would have is that if you are bringing children under 2 you should clarify. We had a 9 month old and a 2 year old with us and they were very curious about all the small antiques around the house! I think if you travel with small ones, it's best to be proactive about moving the well thought out decor to safer baby friendly locations before settling in. I very much appreciated the decorations though!
