Nestled deep in the forest, the dock is accessible by a path that is steep in places or staircase plus steep timber steps with no handrail. Water depth at dock is shallow.

The home is set in a quiet neighborhood that allows privacy. There is extra sleeping space with a queen size air mattress and 2 sofas (not sofa beds)..

Welcome to the Peete House, a 1911, 4700 sq. ft. neoclassical home in downtown Warrenton. Two blocks from restaurants, bars, the library, antique stores and more. The Hawk's Nest (Pets welcome, no fee)

This house is surrounded by growth. High trees provide shade while grilling out and the wooded lot gives a feeling of being somewhere much more remote. There are exactly seventy stairs to the water. The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.
