At the lake for a fishing tournament and stayed at the house. Great house and location for the tournament and a very nice and convenient community boat ramp. Linda and Michael were great to deal with. Will use this house again. Thanks

Amazing big southern mansion and a very comfortable bed. Glad I spent the money. Hope to return with more friend and family. This house could absorb a lot of people and there are so many cool areas to hang inside and out.

Our weekend was amazing. The main floor is large and very open and made it easy for our group to hang out and eat together. The lake is literally just 25 feet or so away from the house. It is February, so we were mostly inside, but quite a few of our high schoolers did jump in the water a few times for a polar plunge. Great value in the off season, great house, and great hosts.

This is our second Second stay at this location. Perfect for racers that are attending VIR. A little noisy at times near the highway but very close to VIR which makes it a perfect location for that. Very clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again for future events if its available.

Perfect place to stay with a small group for a track day at VIR. Michelle was responsive and helpful. I’d stay there again in a minute!

Michael’s place was the perfect place to stay overnight on our road trip. It was clean, easy to get to and access, comfortable with great accommodations. We felt right at home and so did our dogs. Would definitely stay here again

This was the second year in a row we spent Thanksgiving at Simon’s place. The home is a wonderful place to stay as it’s well maintained and well stocked. There’s also plenty to do on site and nearby. Simon is responsive to questions and reasonable accommodation requests.

My wife and I planned a weekend away with our children and parents. We got there and the pictures could not tell the story of how beautiful this house is and the lake. The view from the balcony will be a picture in our home. The kids had a great time bonding around the fire pit. And playing games. Because of my very busy schedule, it’s hard to get away and this is just what was needed. I would highly recommend this home, however, I don’t think that would be a surprise.

My husband and I spent the most marvelous 3 nights at Joe and Megan's cabin. We truly did not want to leave at the end of our stay! The house was so cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen, while small'ish, was exceptionally functional and very wellstocked. We only used the downstairs bedroom, but that bed was very comfortable and all linens were nice. The sunroom was a peaceful place to enjoy the mornings. Great wifi/TV/streaming options. We fully enjoyed all outdoor areas. The deck with large gas grill made for having fun relaxing dinners with lovely views of the lake. The dock was a restorative place to spend the day, launch kayaks from (provided with rental!), and for stargazing at night. There are a few homes/docks nearby but it felt very private and we never issues with noise from neighbors (can't speak for how it might be at the height of summer). Easy check in/out process. Communication with Joe & Megan was superb. A true gem and we hope to return soon!

My girls weekend was perfect! The layout of the house was accommodating to both togetherness and privacy. My group was so impressed with the beautiful views of the lake, comfortable and cozy home set up, and attention to cleanliness and detail. Out of all of the homes we have visited for or annual Girls trips, the Boydton Lake house has become our favorite. Thank you Nanette and Natalie for providing such a great environment for special memories to be made. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property, beautiful location. It snowed before we got there ao we didnt get to use the lake like we wanted to, but it was a beautiful view and our family enjoyed their stay.

My cousins and I came to Littleton to celebrate our aunt’s 100th birthday. Kelly & Corey allowed us to stay in their “extremely beautiful” home for the weekend. From the start, they were very helpful, responsive, and offered checking/checkout flexibility due to the offseason. The house and lake view were breathtaking. The house had everything needed for entertaining and comfort. I would definitely recommend this AirBnB to anyone who would be respectful and responsible enough to take care of the property as if it was their own. Thanks to Kelly & Corey for everything! We had an overall 5 star stay here. The house and area itself is quiet and lovely. The hot tub and wood stove made the space very cozy. The views were amazing! Because there wasn’t much boat traffic or many neighbors around, it was very peaceful and quiet (there is probably more noise in the summer). Nearby uptown Roxboro is fun place to walk around visiting shops, bakeries and restaurants, even though it is small. And even though this is a rural area, it’s easy to get groceries. We also appreciated having soap and toilet paper and tons of board games provided. None of the house quirks bothered us, although in the summer months, being asked to limit laundry after lake activities might be more impactful on our enjoyment. We did have less responsiveness from the host than we are used to. None of our communication was a vital part of our comfort/overall enjoyment, but I do think it’s worth mentioning that since I’d be concerned if there had been a more serious issue to correct.

we had a great time at Amy's. perfect location to stores, boat ramp etc. super clean and very relaxing place. a bunch of games for the kids and pool table for the adults. everyone in our group had a great time
