Monthly Rentals in Celestún

We had a great stay. The beach is stunning and steps away. Perfect spot for a low key seaside escape.

I spent 10 days in Alicia's quiet, cozy Airbnb. It's a great budget studio apartment, with two issues that stop it from being perfect. First the good: The unit is in great condition and has a well-equipped kitchen, with a blender, coffee maker, microwave, a fast induction cooker, and a drum of drinking water with a pump. It's a very private space, with lots of natural light, in an excellent location: in a quiet neighbourhood between downtown and a major shopping area. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk to multiple malls and big supermarkets. It's also a 5 minute walk to a big pharmacy (Guadalajara) and a mini-supermarket (Dunosusa), plus frequent buses going to the Centro. Alicia was very nice when she checked me in, and always very responsive to messages. The only downsides were: The wifi, a bit slow and with a weak and unreliable signal (needs a repeater), not suitable for voice calls; and the weak shower, which made it hard to really wash off. Otherwise, it was a very good stay.

This place is as private and beautiful as the pictures. The local town is friendly with good restaurants. It is challenging to get down the road, as it's full of potholes, but worth it. Some parts of the accomodation would benefit a bit of maintenance. It was clean and tidy. We would stay here again.

We had a fabulous time at Rene’s place. Beautiful beach, lovely condo complex, great pool and fabulous host. I would love to go again. It is about 25 minutes by car from Celestun so remote which is what we wanted. Important to have a car and pick up groceries in Celestun before heading to the condo.
