Villa Pura Vida was exactly what we needed to celebrate our 10 year anniversary trip to Costa Rica. My husband and I traveled solo to La Fortuna to hike the rainforests. The house was spacious and stocked with everything we required to relax after a full day of hiking. The pool and hot tub was wonderful and beautiful! The sounds of the birds outside acted as a natural sleep machine. While we only needed one bedroom, the extra space served us well as a place to store our luggage and hiking items. We drove in from SJO and the private parking space made the place feel safe and secure. Even though we had a vehicle, the space was located within walking distance to so many restaurants, stores and bars that we chose to walk everywhere. Don't hesitate to book this place! Our host also arranged some group tours for us which was extremely helpful!

We spent two wonderful weeks at Casa Pauli. The house is grand, tasteful and spotless. The 1km walk to the spectacular beach was a daily treat (really) with beautiful landscaping throughout Residence Esperanza (and other breathtaking properties to gawk at). We loved Chef Luis’ delicious dinners (cheaper than eating out!). This is a tastefully decorated and expansive Villa, with lots of comfortable spots to sit, relax and enjoy the view. We all loved our stay. And, we took a particular shine to Nanci, our very hard-working, diligent and charming caretaker. Nanci made our holiday extra special. We hope to return. Thanks to all.

We will most definitely stay here again. It was so much more than what we expected. Fresh eggs every day and clean towels every day. Max helped us with excursions and they were better than any we had in the past. You must try the pizza place mentioned in the bungalow. It was fantastic! Loved this place!!

Miguel was a wonderful host. The place was wonderful. The pool had a shallow end that our 4 and 6 yo could stand and they enjoyed it a lot

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

Good place to stay

Very nice and comfortable place to stay with an extra top open floor. The place had some surf boards. Kelly had left us a nice bottle of wine as well. Great place and wish we could stay there longer.

Atypical cabin in a very beautiful setting. We met Alvaro before the arrival time who told us that we could take possession of the premises before. We really had a great time.

Campocosta was fantastic—spacious, clean, and perfect for accommodating our larger group. Ines was incredible; she communicated so well and offered great suggestions. Three out of the 16 in our party were visiting Puerto Rico for the first time, and they’ve already said they’ll be returning. It was a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to come back home to visit my island and my people.

Wow. This home is beautiful! We loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave. We had everything we needed. A very well equipped home. Small supermarket on the corner of the street (2 minute walk) and only a 10-15 walk to the beach at the Marriott resort (happy hour is a must). We will be back again next year! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I absolutely loved this house! It had plenty of space for my family and me, and the neighborhood was fantastic. The home was spotless and smelled amazing when we arrived, making us feel instantly comfortable. I would definitely stay here again for another vacation!

Excellent stay, very convenient for the parks and the beach, private pool, everything is very close.

We stayed for 2 weeks and absolutely LOVED the house. Each bedroom does in fact have its own bathroom. There are a total of 5 bathrooms at the house. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare very nice meals. Coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, oven all worked great! The best part??? The pool area & surrounding patio! There’s a large palm tree on the southeast side of the patio that offers wonderful shade during the early part of the day. A large umbrella can also be opened for more shade. Plenty of chairs, loungers and tables are around the patio. The changing color LED pool lights at night are gorgeous! We brought a small blue tooth speaker to add to the ambiance of the pool area. We used the patio’s gas grill 4-5 times and it works great! Right across the street is a grocery store and hardware store. Super convenient!! Overall a wonderful, safe, private and amazing place to stay! Definitely will do again!!

We loved this little cottage. While it is not fancy, it fit the island vibe perfectly. The small pool for the complex is a great place to relax. The location was perfect - just far enough from the main streets but just close enough for an easy walk to the restaurants and stores. Would definitely recommend!

great place to stay. very central and lots of things you can walk to in Valladolid. very central for many archeological sites. kids loved the pool.

When we got to the place, Anna on behalf of Giovanna was super welcoming and helpful with all sorts of information on the place and the island in general. was a great experience dealing with her and was willing to help out with anything that popped up during our stay.
