Amazing host, amazing property. Hard to leave

This was a great place for a medium size group to spend the night near the airport before venturing to other parts of Costa Rica. The listing was as described. The area is safe, easy to find, and the host was attentive and responsive to all our needs. Gracias!

This place was a great find for our trip to La Fortuna, and the hosts were very welcoming. We enjoyed the private hot tub surrounded by the jungle sounds, while still being close to town.

This was my second year staying at Francisco’s apartment. Love coming here, walking distance to the beach & restaurants. I would love to see some things upgrade inside the suite but overall this was a great trip ☺️ there is 24/7 assistance if need with the property manage who is great & always responsive

I really enjoyed staying here. The Villa is really nice and comfortable. I really loved the jacuzzi and pool with the waterfall and the way it lit up at night was amazing.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Casa Pauli. The house is grand, tasteful and spotless. The 1km walk to the spectacular beach was a daily treat (really) with beautiful landscaping throughout Residence Esperanza (and other breathtaking properties to gawk at). We loved Chef Luis’ delicious dinners (cheaper than eating out!). This is a tastefully decorated and expansive Villa, with lots of comfortable spots to sit, relax and enjoy the view. We all loved our stay. And, we took a particular shine to Nanci, our very hard-working, diligent and charming caretaker. Nanci made our holiday extra special. We hope to return. Thanks to all.

Beautiful property. Our two families with 4 young children had a lovely stay. It’s a bit driving to attractions (15 mins to town, 35 mins to Arenal) but it’s better this way to stay away from crowds. There are two restaurants and a minimart steps away, I also highly recommend Don Juan Coffee and Chocolate tour which is just 3 mins away. Our host and contact Max is very responsive and gave us useful local tips. Children enjoyed the pool even on rainy days. The place is limited but we didn’t feel crowded with 4 adults and 4 children.

Miguel's house was perfect for our trip, it had everything we needed. Plenty of living room and seating options are available inside and outside. The pool was perfect and we spent lots of time in there. The house is located in a gated community but it was very easy to get in and out of. There are several things nearby that you can walk to, including acai bowls & smoothies, restaurants, pharmacy, and grocery stores. There is also a train stop across the street from the gated entrance, we took the train to San Juan and then caught a bus to Old San Juan, and it was perfect for a day trip. The house is also only a 25 minute drive to some beautiful beaches. All three bedrooms, the kitchen and both bathrooms and living rooms were a very clean and comfortable. Miguel was very helpful and friendly to us, also Sonia was an amazing help during our trip, she was so kind! We were here for a business trip but we would love to stay next year as well. Thank you Miguel for sharing your house with us.

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

Our stay was great! The place is centrally located, close to grocery stores and restaurants. It was very large, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The kids loved running around and swinging in the hammocks and the pool. The place could have had some upgrades, like soap in the showers and more absorbent towels - small things that were not a huge bother. There also seemed to only be hot water in the main house.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay with an extra top open floor. The place had some surf boards. Kelly had left us a nice bottle of wine as well. Great place and wish we could stay there longer.

We had an amazing time! The location was perfect, and we absolutely loved the property—it felt just like home. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to explore. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, Katie! Pura Vida!

Great place to stay! Awesome yard behind the house!

The Álvaro hut is small but quite comfortable, clean and with a well-equipped kitchen. It rained a lot and it was cold when we arrived, but there was a heater that worked very well. It is located in a location with access in less than 30 minutes to the Poás Volcano. Álvaro was super attentive and even took us some items at 6:30 in the morning that we needed to make breakfast.

Mike and Amanda responded to our requests in a manner that was exceptional. We were a family of 7 adults and a 3 year old and 10 month old and it couldn’t have been more smooth or accommodating. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had Chef Vincent Pelligrini cook for us 5 dinners and 2 breakfasts and he was unbelievable. Highly recommended!!!! We were there for 12 nights and would go back in the future. Great stay and first class hosts. Thank you both.

Robs place. Where do I begin. It was absolutely perfect aside from the check in. The house itself is immaculate. The views, stunning. Once you climb that steep hill you are welcomed to the gates of paradise. The rooms are amazing and the common room is very much appreciated for 5 friends who like to watch movies as a bonding experience. The pool was one of the best swimming experiences of my life and the view. My god the view. 10/10, 24 hours a day, 365. Unfortunately when we arrived at the property management office under instruction to collect the keys we were left in the dark. Fortunately, Catalina was at the location which is 20 minutes away, to let us in. I would recommend this Airbnb but I would advise better communication with regards to accessing the location, but an amazing experience none the less.

We had a fantastic, relaxing stay at Tropical Dreams. The Airbnb was just right for 2 couples to stay together, and we felt no need to rush out to find activities to get away- we could just lounge in the pool and visit. The apartment was clean and homey with just enough space and no waste. A highlight for us was visiting with Molly, one of the women who cleans the complex. She is a wealth of information and friendly local recommendations- we really enjoyed being able to get her take on how life on the island has changed over the years. We will absolutely look her up on our next trip to Caye Caulker. Additionally, Chip was a super responsive and helpful host. We'd absolutely stay here again in the future. The ONLY downside for us (which had nothing to do with Chip and Laura or the Airbnb itself) is that it's located on a very busy road, and the growing number of gas golf carts on the island means there is a lot of road noise. But we tended not to even notice this after the first day.

We LOVED this house. It was in a great location - walkable to all the local restaurants we love to visit while in Cozumel, and a mile to water. The street was quiet, and the backyard was our personal oasis with loungers and a table to enjoy my morning coffee and watch the local visitors including lizards, iguanas and hummingbirds. We were there for about a month and worked our remote jobs M-F, so having a desk in every bedroom was so nice. The room splits kept the rooms comfortable, but I did love having the windows open to enjoy the breeze. We also appreciated the washer and dryer so we could wash our clothes, which made packing a lot easier. Ana was fantastic; she reminded us when the pool was going to be cleaned, answered any questions we had, and even recommended grocery stores and restaurants. We would stay here again and again. Thank you for providing such a nice home for us to call our own for the last month.

Nathaly was incredibly nice, very communicative and provided a ton of helpful suggestions for the island. The house is in a great location close to the beach and (almost even better) Coco Bistro/Van. Check in was easy and everything was as advertised. I would definitely stay again - already looking forward to planning the next trip!
