The Dovecote with private indoor hot tub!

CharlieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Booked our stay on the afternoon of arrival for a last minute getaway and Alan was happy, helpful and confirmed the booking within the hour. The house is well equipped with a full modern kitchen, a comfy bed and a stylish bathroom. Everything a couple could need. The hot tub was larger than expected, tucked away in a private room and a lovely touch so few other places offer. The only downsides were we were told there was an issue with the thermostat so the bathroom was as hot as a sauna as the radiator couldn't be turned down and the walls (in the bedroom especially) were stained with dirt or whatever else, which you wouldn't expect at a stay of this price.

The Garden Hut: glamp in a thatched cottage garden

I loved it. I felt like I was visiting family together with my boyfriend. We had a lovely chat with Libby and her pets are absolutely adorable. We had a cozy film night in the little hut and a nice shower in the morning. Driving to Cambridge was about 30min and Libby had great recommendations.😘

Delightful 1 Bedroom/En-suite Shepherd Hut

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Such a lovely, peaceful break. I took my dog and she absolutely loved being able to run around and chase her ball all weekend, and I was happy knowing that the paddock (that is very large) was secure. The extras of breakfast and wine were an added bonus, and the hut itself was perfectly proportioned and cosy. I will definitely recommend Sharon's shepherd's hut to my friends and family as I couldn't fault it.

Cosy railway cabin on the edge of Ashwell

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay was perfect. Victoria was extremely accommodating and responsive when asked if we could amend the booking slightly to suit our stay which made the booking process easy. The pre check in instructions were really well written, making it super easy to find and self check in. The surrounding areas and village were stunning, peaceful and tranquil which is exactly what we needed for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for better. Even though we stayed in the area for specific reason, I wish we had more time there as Victoria listed a few local attractions and places to visit which we didn’t have the pleasure of exploring but there is so much to enjoy here. The cabin itself was perfect, clean, cosy, warm and filled with everything we needed. We both had an amazing sleep as the bed and bedding were brilliant with zero surrounding noise around us. Such a cute little hidden away spot prefect for a couple just wanting a weekend to just relax and take some time off. Thank you Victoria.

Beautiful place, me and mum loved our stay. Helen was very friendly and welcoming. It was so lovely sitting in the lovely garden, sun all day, we enjoyed our breakfast out there listening too and watching the birds. The place is very comfy, clean, just everything about it we loved. The restaurant a stones throw away was good too. Can't wait to come back for another stay. Thanks Helen
