Vacation rentals in Cambalache State Forest

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 9 and highly recommend this property. The en-suite bathrooms with each bedroom worked very well providing privacy and convenience for all. The living room and main living space with dining table also provided space for meals, games, and general gathering spaces. We took advantage of the outside patio for coffee and reading time in the cooler mornings. The pool area is conveniently located directly across the street from this unit making it convenient for even short dips or lounging. We were at this location during the Puerto Rico blackout and the diesel generator started automatically and provided power during multiple power losses over three days. Having backup power made a real difference during our family vacation as most restaurants and businesses are not open on January 1st and we were able to celebrate by staying in for dinner and family time knowing we would have power during the random blackouts.

This home was wonderful very clean and specious. The home was equipped with food items that made our stay a lot more comfortable ex coffee, spices and cooking items very thoughtful.

I had an incredible stay at La Casita Fraysa! The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was super welcoming, responsive, and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great—peaceful yet close to everything I needed. I truly enjoyed my time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My friend and I were meeting for a self-care, girls weekend -- this stay was perfect. First, the hosts were so nice and helpful, from a tiny bit of gate trouble (taken care of quickly), to a dinner rec and responsiveness during checkout -- overall great experience. Second, The house sits on top of a hill overlooking the ocean, and the wrap around porch (and ocean breeze) is the star. I had my coffee and breakfast, and read out there every day. You can hear the ocean waves all day and the coquis at night... AND the stars! If you live in a city, you'll enjoy that too. We ate out and cooked equally, and the kitchen is equipped with all the pans and utensils you could need. Third, the location is less touristy but you can still get out to the surrounding towns easily. It's also along 681 with bars, a couple good beaches, and natural sights close by -- plenty to do. If I could have stayed longer, I would have. this was heaven for me. I would stay here again and again.

The apt we stayed was nice and comfortable. Miguel was responsive especially when we locked ourselves out. I locked the door from the inside not knowing that we had to just closed the door and it automatically locks itself. One of the things that we encounter was the fact that the we had to climb about 13 steps as oppose to 5 steps that was indicated on the description. I had my parents with me and that made it a little harder going up and down. Having a washer and dryer, extra towels, everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable beds is definitely a big plus. This was our second stay in Jose's place. He has always shown the greatest kindness to us, and we have been so fortunate to make this location home for a time. We love waking up there, making coffee and hanging out on the porch. The hammocks are therapy. Thank you Jose!!!!
