While I understand this is in line with Airbnb's policies, it might be helpful to clarify this upfront for guests who are planning to travel with their pets. We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was a perfect and peaceful stay to relax for a busy weekend wedding.

Super responsive and friendly hosts! Goats and chickens, and the rooster sounding the alarm when the sun hit the horizon! I overlooked this in the booking but there is no door to the bedroom. Not a huge problem for us, just mentioning for others. The floors are a little creaky which was only problematic when my kids got up to use the bathroom and I’m a light sleeper. Husbands was not affected by this. The smoke alarm went off while using the oven. Not a huge issue but it was startling. Oven worked fine! The paper towels and hand soap were a plus!! Most places don’t include. Extra pillow cases can be found in the ottoman. Plenty of towels and that black and silver blanket was SUPER warm. I didn’t want to get out from under it!! All in all, this was an excellent location. We were in town for a dance competition and had an early call time. Will book again if ever in Taylorsville again!!!

We did not get to spend much time at the house as we really just slept there, but the gorgeous lake views were wonderful to wake up to. Very peaceful
