Great little private place. From time to time, you can hear them playing music next door. Highly recommend anyone staying next.

I wanted my family to experience the area and hopefully some Cajun culture b/c they only know the NO city areas. I've always wanted to stay at what locals refer to as a "camp" - recreational house on pilings, so I reserved this one. Ida was the best host I've had since using Airbnb. We had major a major car problem on the way down to LA, which delayed our arrival a day. Then, at the tail end of our stay we all came down with a 24hr bug. Ida went above and beyond regarding both incidents!! She even offered to make a store run for us when we were sick. The camp was impressively clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Favorite feature - jacuzzi!! Screened porches - great to entertain family from Covington. Comfortable reclining chairs. Woke up to sounds of nearby roosters & wildlife. Fishing at Pointe Aux Chen: C'est bon! - spectacular! I wish we could've stayed longer to use the grill and even do a crawfish boil! I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back!! The home was in a very good location just minutes away from the center of shopping and dinning. The home was very close to my family which made it easy and time consuming to visit and make the most of our visit to my home town.
