Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Avalon

I actually was not able to stay at the property due to some extenuating circumstances regarding the fires in Los Angeles. Thankfully, Catalina Vacations was extremely accommodating and offered to cancel outside of their normal window. They were very communicative, and I appreciate their willingness to help out!

Fantastic location, easy to access, was exactly like the photos. Was what we expected and more. I would recommend anyone familiar with Catalina Island to enjoy this spot as much as we did. Would book again when going back.

We absolutely loved this cozy beach house in Avalon. It was in the perfect central location; an easy walk from the ferry on a quiet and quaint, street. Beds were comfy-cozy, kitchen appliances were great, and everything was spotlessly clean. What a treat for our first visit to Catalina. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay, place is like described & Thomas is a great host who responds quickly & provided a lot of helpful information. Very comfortable & the golf cart is a great addition.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Meghan’s place! She was incredibly communicative and always responded promptly to any questions. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. The space itself is charming, unique, and well-equipped with everything a family could need. We especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, which made cooking easy and convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

This house is amazing - literally the best view in town. We could have easily just hung out in the living room with glasses of wine and had a fantastic weekend. The house is cool, funky, retro. Allison's description was spot on - and if you are looking for a modern style home, this is not for you. But if you are looking for something really cool... and did I mention the view...

Sara’s place was the best ABB property I have stayed at. Everything was thought of. Her binder provided so much info on the area, we felt comfortable right away. Groceries were a 10 minute uber ride. Her home was clean, very well stocked and in a perfect location. Would absolutely recommend this property.

Greta was so easy to work with. The apartment was exactly as described and I really enjoyed my stay. Happy to stay there again in the future. Easy walk to restaurants and beach.

It was very nice amd cozy, had walkable stores and restaurants (even walked to a restaurants that was nearby) has a very safe environment and had no issues, love to stay again in future

Blake & Brenda’s place was perfect for my requirements. It looks as beautiful as in the pictures. All the amenities you’d expect were there and were of high quality. The unit was clean and conveniently located. I’d highly recommend it.

This bungalow was perfect for my needs. A cozy two bedroom place in downtown Huntington Beach. Access to many restaurants, electric shuttle (via Ride Circuit) if desired. Host is friendly and responsive. Three restaurants and a convenience store literally next door, plus downtown a short stroll away. I would stay here again!

2nd stay with Udo. Our stay was was comfortable and convenient to Long Beach, also many other places and activities. We look forward to another stay.

Download the app for Circuit - a much better deal than a taxi. For when you don’t have the golf cart. Vons has everything you need. We loved that Hamilton cove was separate from downtown. So peaceful! The sunrise was amazing. Kayaking from the beach club was great. Place was lovely - hotel checkin worked great - but they ignored our requests (3) for towels - strange. Master bedroom has a spectacular view - second bedroom has no view at all. We would stay again.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay in Avalon. The condo was nice and comfortable and clean. It is in the back side of the little town but not to worry because the town is small so it was very easy to walk everywhere. We enjoyed the hot tub and the golf cart made it easy to get groceries and get our luggage to the ferry landing on departure day. We can’t wait to come back to Catalina for another great weekend. This place matches the pictures exactly as listed on the Airbnb site. Rosie is very responsive; she provided us with information on local attractions and brought us additional heaters when we mentioned that the room was a bit too cold for us. She also allowed us to check in earlier, which made our day much easier. The golf cart that came with the rental is a must-have. Since the gated community does not allow rental golf carts inside, we were glad to have our own. It made it much easier to come in and out of the community, which is a bit too far to walk, especially when carrying groceries. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of condiments and plates, making it feel like home. I would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for making our trip wonderful!

Our stay here was incredible! You can't beat the views of the ocean right out your window, and the interior was very nice. We were planning on going to a bar for New Year's Eve but felt so cozy in our airbnb that we ended up just staying in the whole night. My friends and I had a great trip to Catalina Island and a big part of that was simply being able to stay here:)

Great stay in Catalina! Appreciated the free taxi ride from the ferry, the nice big space for a 1 bed room, excellent patio, lots of linens, big bathroom, and good host communication. Catalina is $$$ but I feel like this was a good deal for the area and fit our needs great for the weekend. There are some stairs to get up to the condo, but an elevator lets you skip all but like 10 steps so it wasn't nearly as big an issue as I'd feared from the reviews.

We had an amazing experience, the stay was wonderful. Everyone from the personnel to the locals are extremely pleasant. Golf cart was the most convenient amenity. I would definitely recommend adding a weather protector to the cart for the use of the guest especially in the winter, to be completely honest an elevator would be helpful especially for people that travel with elders. All in all it was Phenomenal experience we will definitely be back soon!
