Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Avalon

Fantastic location, easy to access, was exactly like the photos. Was what we expected and more. I would recommend anyone familiar with Catalina Island to enjoy this spot as much as we did. Would book again when going back.

We stayed for 4 nights with our 4 small children. The play area and bunk beds were a hit. Tons of extra blankets were nice, great location to grocery store and food. We were here for the trail race so the close proximity to the finish line was clutch! Everything was clean, kitchen and laundry were nice. Quirky little house but cute and convenient.

Location was perfect. Hope to come stay again. Everything was just as mentioned. Clean and check in was easy

We absolutely loved this cozy beach house in Avalon. It was in the perfect central location; an easy walk from the ferry on a quiet and quaint, street. Beds were comfy-cozy, kitchen appliances were great, and everything was spotlessly clean. What a treat for our first visit to Catalina. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

We booked this lovely place for a bachelorette trip, and the ferry got cancelled the day of, as well as the next 2 days, so unfortunately, we weren’t able to make it there due to the weather. Debra was so lovely and responsive and very helpful during the entire process and I’m so grateful for how helpful and kind she was. We are definitely going to take a trip there and stay at Debra’s Airbnb in the future! 🤍 Thank you for being an awesome host!

The Razz Ma Tazz was so cute! Location was great, only a few minutes from the beach. Meghan was a great host with excellent communication before and during the stay. We had a fantastic time!

This house is amazing - literally the best view in town. We could have easily just hung out in the living room with glasses of wine and had a fantastic weekend. The house is cool, funky, retro. Allison's description was spot on - and if you are looking for a modern style home, this is not for you. But if you are looking for something really cool... and did I mention the view...

Would 100% recommend this place!! It was so cute and in the perfect location. You can’t beat the price for this location. Everything you could need is in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

I needed a last minute place to stay after a long trip at Disney and it was around 10pm messaged Andy he replied right away , his place is awesome nice and clean easy to find and more than enough parking . Definitely recommend thank you once again

The location is fantastic and it matches the de rip rooms and pictures! Despite it being small, they had tons of room for storing our suitcases and stuff. It worked great for my husband and I and our (almost) 1 year old. Everything off 2nd street and the beach paths are walking distance. Greta was proactive and accessing everything was easy peasy. Highly rec!

Greg was a wonderful host! His place was hands down one of the cleanest AirBNB’s I’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the linens were fresh and clean. The bathtub was also incredible. The apartment doesn’t run out of hot water, so you can take as many hot baths as you want. The area felt extremely safe. As a lady, this is very important to me when I travel. The neighbors were friendly and had great things to say about Greg. Restaurants, shopping, and the beach were within a ten minute walk. I walked alone as late as 10pm and felt perfectly safe on my own. If I’m ever back in the area, I’d book here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Blake and Brenda’s place. Very comfortable and sparkly clean. The apartment is in a very walkable area to all restaurants, shops and beautiful Corona Del Mar beach. We will definitely come back and would love to stay at Blake and Brenda’s place!! Thank you again Blake and Brenda! We felt right at home!!🥰

Great location was able to walk to downtown Huntington to the beach to lots of activities. Great Communication with the host easy check-in. Will stay there again!

Overall stay was amazing, with beautiful views. Check in went smooth thanks to the host explaining everything beforehand. I would recommend downloading the Circuit app for transportation from the check-in location to Hamilton Cove. Circuit transportation is a lot cheaper than catching a taxi. The Hamilton Cove unit is a well-maintained updated condo. The unit does come with a golf cart which is a bit worn, however it got us around the island during our stay. The views from the unit are spectacular and it’s a quiet community. Would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay in Avalon. The condo was nice and comfortable and clean. It is in the back side of the little town but not to worry because the town is small so it was very easy to walk everywhere. We enjoyed the hot tub and the golf cart made it easy to get groceries and get our luggage to the ferry landing on departure day. We can’t wait to come back to Catalina for another great weekend. Lamont and the staff were so friendly with great tips on things to do around the island. The property is breathtaking & steps away from the private beach, pool and gym. The golf cart included with the condo was seriously a lifesaver we explored the entire island with ease and sits 6 people. Bring a portable speaker for music on the go. The entire condo is pure luxe & so quiet and peaceful. The shower and kitchen design are my favorites- simply beautiful. Felt right at home!

This place matches the pictures exactly as listed on the Airbnb site. Rosie is very responsive; she provided us with information on local attractions and brought us additional heaters when we mentioned that the room was a bit too cold for us. She also allowed us to check in earlier, which made our day much easier. The golf cart that came with the rental is a must-have. Since the gated community does not allow rental golf carts inside, we were glad to have our own. It made it much easier to come in and out of the community, which is a bit too far to walk, especially when carrying groceries. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of condiments and plates, making it feel like home. I would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for making our trip wonderful!

Great apartment with a fantastic view. Andre and Leslie were very responsive and kind, even got us an early check in. The taxi from the ferry to the apartment is a nice perk. Highly recommend!
