Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Avalon

We came for Spring Break with our two kids and Grandparents. The place was perfect for our needs. They switch golf carts to better accommodate our size and that was vey thoughtful. Each room had a nice TV which was nice. We really loved the outdoor patios and the Kitchen was nicely stocked. We will definitely be returning and Catalina Vacations was great to work with.

We had a great stay. The place is close to the waterfront and even closer to the market. All 8 of us fit nicely. The beds, pillows and sheets could be improved but overall it was a great stay.

Amazing house with an incredible view! The windows in this house are insane. The inclusion of a golf cart was a huge plus. Makes it really convenient getting around the island! Would definitely stay here again

My family lived on the island for more than 25 years so I am very familiar with the town. This home is perfectly situated at the end of a main street away from the congestion of the main strip but within an easy 5 minute walk to said main strip, three minutes to the grocery store etc. The home is well maintained in general with plenty of space. There were eight of us and we were very comfortable. The house was very tidy and clean with the exception of one shower that had a clump of hair on the side wall. Everything else in the bathrooms was very clean so I am assuming this was an oversight. I was very pleased in general with this home and will definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and check in was easy. I emailed them before I got onto the boat and by the time I got off the boat the instructions for getting into the home were in my inbox. If you have a large family I definitely recommend this home.

Really an extraordinary place to stay with wonderful hosts. Cannot recommend more - will stay again. It's not far from Avalon - an extremely enjoyable 5 min golf cart ride to and from. The quick drive to town lets you experience a slice of the island that you may miss just staying on the main roads. The hills, cliffside, wildlife and ocean views we got just coming back from the store were worth the trip itself. Having a gold cart is a HUGE benefit - it was a game changer. The layout and décor make it a relax and spacious environment with plenty of spots to enjoy the view. It feels like home when you walk in - spotless, the interior decorating is amazing and the view! I could sit in the living room all day relaxing. It's just the epitome of a vacation home. It's quiet and private - the appliances all feel brand new. The deck is extremely spacious and a wonderful spot to sit and eat/enjoy. I cannot speak more highly of the hosts. Brent is great person and went above and beyond.

Comfortable place for the six of us (Mom, Dad and 4 adult children in their 30’s). SPECTACULAR VIEWS! They suggested getting a taxi from the ferry, but we decided to walk and it was very doable. The golf cart was included which was really fun and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again! Really appreciated the very responsive host!

Pam &Jimmy’s place was even better than expected. The location is perfect, very walkable, and very close to the beach. They have everything you need including bikes that really came in handy. As hosts, they go above and beyond to make the place as inviting as can be. I can’t rave about this place enough.

What a gem! We stayed for 3 nights in this sweet little spot and it did not disappoint. The condo is in the best location for walking to local shops, restaurants, beaches. The neighborhood is so pretty, we loved going for walks and looking at the beautiful homes. The Airbnb is equipped with literally everything you could possibly want or need, it’s spacious and decorated SO cute! If you are lucky enough to have your dates available don’t hesitate to book, it’s fabulous ❤️

We had a great stay at this property! It's fully remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Everything was provided, including nice bath towels (mini shampoo/conditioner/lotion, too), soft comfortable linen, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The property is steps away from Marine Avenue, the main street on Balboa Island, with great shops and restaurants. That being said, you are in a more vibrant and happening part of the island, which comes with a little more noise and traffic. We enjoyed being close to everything, walking around, etc. The host is responsive and super easy to work with.

We had an amazing stay after a rough start to our trip. Host was very helpful and responsive when we had to find different accommodations than originally planned. We booked and got check in instructions immediately. Host made sure everything was smooth and was very understanding of our situation. Property was amazingly cleaned and well maintained. The pictures did not do this place justice. It is even nicer! We didn’t hear any noise from neighbors or the outside. Pool area was nice and clean and heated which is a rare find in California. Pool area was quiet and we pretty much had the place to ourselves each time. Many restaurants in the area as well as a Starbucks nearby. Property was a quick jump to the highway. We would highly recommend this property and Host to anyone looking for a nice comfortable place to stay and a Host who is friendly and responsive.

Sharon's place was great! The location along Marine is perfect if you want to walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment was very cute and beachy - perfect for a SoCal getaway. And a pretty good size space compared to other places I've stayed on the island - cute living area, desk and dining area, outdoor patio. Love all the plants in the courtyard too ;) Sharon was an outstanding host - very friendly, communicated clearly, responsive, and all around made sure it was a great experience. Highly recommend!

This was a very comfortable cozy place. I loved it. Everything was organized. Laundry was very accessible. I felt just like I was home. The instructions he gave were very informational and on point. He was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Amazing stay! First time staying in an Airbnb and the experience was amazing. Would recommend for location and price!

We loved our stay at Roya’s home. First, the home is lovely and is in an amazing area. We loved how walkable it was to coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The outside patio with the fire pit and the large amount of seating was great. My husband and I were with our 2 daughters (ages 24 and 27) and their spouse and significant other. The 3 bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom was perfect. Personally we loved that the lights turned off (only during the daytime and only after 2 hours). Seems like a great way to conserve some energy if they aren’t needed and if they are needed it is easy enough to turn them back on. I would love to have them in our home! We also enjoyed the tile throughout the updated, upscale home. So much easier to keep clean. We found Roya to be very helpful and leave very detailed instructions. We also loved the local art she had on the 2nd floor. It truly is a lovely home in a great area. I recommend it highly and can’t wait to return.

Such a great location, he usually stay around this area for our family trips to CDM and this was gold.

Beautiful condo, the yellow walls from the pictures were now a blue color and EVERY SINGLE window looked like a moving painting. Absolutely beautiful. Small note: Really mean security at the gate of the condo. I had a friend surprise me for my birthday and she got called a "liar" when she told the security woman she was not staying the night. Thankfully the hosts are incredible and helped to fix the issue but insanely aggressive behavior for 7am.

My friends and I had a great time!! We do not get to see each other often and this was the PERFECT spot to catch up. Lots of room, hot tub chats, game nights, and more!

I had an amazing experience here. The environment was peaceful, providing the perfect escape from daily life. Nice surroundings allowed for relaxation, making it an ideal getaway. The owner was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, went beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, providing helpful recommendations and being available whenever needed. Her hospitality truly made my stay special. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a wonderful host.

If you are looking for a five star amazing property in the Corona Del Mar area. Look no more. This property is the bomb. It sold me just on the beautiful amenities, but it also had the second bathroom, the washer and dryer and the designated parking spot. On top of all that, communication was awesome. A definite two thumbs up for this property and I will definitely be back .

We have stayed at Terranea many times and Beth’s view is the best of any Casita we’ve stayed-in. Unobstructed ocean views from both the living room and the bedroom. Close to the walking trail, pool, spa, and restaurants. Check-in through the app and front desk were nice and easy. Daily housekeeping was wonderful as well. Thank you, Beth. We will be back!
