House vacation rentals in Avalon

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and stores. We enjoyed having more than enough beach accessories. The decor is just as beautiful as in the pictures. It was more spacious than I expected. It was very clean and cozy. We would come back again.

A fantastic place to stay and a wonderful host! Our initial AirBnB location was having trouble, so Alex(host) reached out to us and immediately came with a solution. He was so accommodating and kind the whole trip was stress free! Beautiful area, feels safe and peaceful— while the home was spacious and felt comfy to be at. Our experience here exceeded our expectations and was a great stay! Heather’s place was amazing. The place was very clean and had many great amenities. The house is only a 15 min walk from the pier and is right next to plenty of street parking. Heather and Chris were both very responsive with any questions we had and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Huntington!

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. There were 7 of us, and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the home & how each bedroom has its own bathroom. The location was fantastic - so close to the beach, shopping & restaurants. The roof top hot tub was one of the most loved features by our family. Richard our host was outstanding and took so much time walking us through when we checked in, and making sure we knew what to expect. Felt like we had made a friend! If I was to comment on one thing I wouldn’t have minded it would be firmer mattresses. Only other thing would be the shower in the bathroom at the roof top did not drain well. But that’s an easy fix I’m sure! All in all a wonderful experience and we would definitely want to stay there again!

Location was amazing! Just a few steps from the beach and the area felt safe. The home backs up to a very busy road but it didn’t bother us at all. The home is dated but overall did what it needed to do. The jacuzzi was awesome and the yard was perfect. The only thing I would have liked is a real entrance point other than a keyed sliding door as well as that same sliding door to have a covering on it to have privacy when needed, it felt a little too open especially in the evenings. You can close the gate to add privacy but the gate is old and heavy and not easy to move around. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here due to the location and excellent hosts.

Was very comfortable and great for our family. The hosts were very responsive and when we needed to adjust the amount of days we stayed in the house, it was a breeze! The place was just as described and the host made our check in and out easy. We ended up accidentally leaving behind a couple of items and the host was kind enough to get our shipping address to ship it to us without issue! Thanks Kristi and George for the great Stay! 5 stars!

Excellent stay, probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Only a 6 minute walk from the ferry. Everything in Avalon is walking distance. Definitely recommend. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to get checked in early. With three kids and luggage I was so appreciative. My only suggestion would be an extra fitted sheet for the pull out bed downstairs. It wasn’t anything major and I’m sure if I had asked for one they would have brought one. Super responsive. Other than that, we had what we needed in the house. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay with such gorgeous views from balcony. The golf cart was perfect for getting around the island. House was comfortable and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. In particular, we really liked the puzzles they had available.

Perfectly located only a 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants/bars, and entertainment. (Our favorite was the mini golf and submarine) The house looks like is has been recently remolded and well cared for. Bed's and living room furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home. Checkout was a breeze and a very short walk to the fairy back home. Thank you again for the awesome experience.

Comfortable place for the six of us (Mom, Dad and 4 adult children in their 30’s). SPECTACULAR VIEWS! They suggested getting a taxi from the ferry, but we decided to walk and it was very doable. The golf cart was included which was really fun and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again! Really appreciated the very responsive host!

Our first Thanksgiving friends gathering, the house is very comfortable, tidy and clean, and the items are fully prepared, friends eat and talk on the balcony, enjoy the warm sunshine and the ray of the sea, feel the beauty of life, the location is unique, walking, activities are extremely convenient, next time will definitely come again

351D is a very nice cottage. Has heating and AC. Well done kitchen and bathtub in entry bathroom. Could use larger TV's love the decor and the stained glass. could use a laundry area. nice walkable location. don't need a golf cart. love the hand held shower heads. the master bed is fairy comfortable and warm blankets. thanks much. one of the nicest units on a quiet street.

Great location, beautiful home and superior customer service provided by Catalina Vacations. We definitely recommend this lovely home.

Charming house with great community spaces (living and dining room areas). Well appointed kitchen with all the tools our race group needed to prepare our night before meal. Second bathroom is a bit tiny but it gets the job done! We were able to comfortably accommodate 7 folks plus some additional friends who joined us for an early pre-race dinner that were staying elsewhere on the island. Quiet area a few blocks from the restaurants so minimal 'people' noise despite being 2nd from the corner. Well priced. 7 minute walk to the start line of the Avalon 50k/50M and Half Marathon races.

Our stay in Catalina was so beautiful and peaceful. if you are looking for a getaway to forget your cares then look no further.

We came for Spring Break with our two kids and Grandparents. The place was perfect for our needs. They switch golf carts to better accommodate our size and that was vey thoughtful. Each room had a nice TV which was nice. We really loved the outdoor patios and the Kitchen was nicely stocked. We will definitely be returning and Catalina Vacations was great to work with.

Had a great stay and beautiful views from the living room/ kitchen space. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and all spaces very clean and tidy. Super close to the grocery store and downtown area. Initially, we had some challenges using a few amenities but they replied immediately and sent over maintenance staff within 20 min! We really appreciated the prompt responses and helpful staff.

The house, cleanliness, and location are great!! The place has FAR more family and kid-friendly amenities than they mentioned. We especially loved the toys like giant jenga and wooden connect four. The room with the Murphy bed and washer/dryer has space for a pack n play, which was great!! The house is on a decent hill, but it’s nice to have the exercise and really most of Avalon is pretty hilly. The location along the boardwalk is great though!

Our stay was fantastic! The place was clean, cozy, and in perfect location with amazing view. The host was friendly and made check-in a breeze. We loved waking up to ocean views and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect location on the Island. Minute walk to the beach and other surrounding activities!! My mom has a bad back so this was the perfect location with no hills to protect her.
