The Host meet us and helped carrying the bags to the house. It was nice and clean and a great location to just relax and have a good sleep before continuing our drive to Cape Town.

Had the best stay, my only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer. Zelmaré was so friendly and went above and beyond for me ! Her pets are super friendly too ! i especially enjoyed the cuddles from the cat !

A beautiful place with incredible views and a very special atmosphere. So much so that at the end of our trip, we came back to spend our last night here. Else and Jaco are lovely and make you feel at home. Else is an artist and paints stunning pictures. Oh! And the pecan nuts—delicious!

The Pecan Tree Cottage is a wonderful place that offers many opportunities to relax and recharge your batteries, but it is also the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities. The cottage enjoys a wonderful location and offers numerous amenities, offers plenty of space and comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. From the moment we booked, Philip provided so much detailed information about the area and so many suggestions for stops on the way to Montagu that we could have easily spent two weeks in the Montagu area. We only spent two days there, but they left us with many wonderful memories and the desire to come back. In that case, we would definitely book The Pecan Tree Cottage again. Not least because of our two excellent hosts, Sheryl and Philip. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and pampered us (not only with the sensational treats in the fridge).
