We had a wonderful time at Emanuels place. He was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations and showing how everything worked. The view from his place is incredible. We spent almost every evening on the terrace, enjoying the view of the ocean and Ribeira Brava. What a wonderful place! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

We loved our stay, the location and the view are stunning. We used the hot tub a few times, lovely stuff. Place has an aircon unit and electric dehumidifier, so there is no dampness inside. The driveway is quite steep and twisty so small car is best.

A beautiful little house with a fantastic view. Me, my fiancée and our 7 month old baby had a lovely time staying here. Gomes was accommodating and quick to reply. Our microwave broke down and he replaced it the same day. 10/10 service.

Team at Casas de Pedro makes every effort for comfort of their guests. Self Catering breakfast provided daily fresh bread, fruits cheese, and deli meats. Very delicious. Architecture of cottage was beautiful of restored original construction and complimentary style addition. Camelia is a wonderful, restful and rehabilitating escape for a couple.

The accommodation is impeccable, quiet in an exotic environment. Ideal with children, the services are nearby (restaurant, supermarket). The views are beautiful and the owner is responsive. Perfect for visiting Madeira!

A Dream Come True in Porto Moniz! Staying at the Monte Chalet was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the charm and serenity of this beautiful rural retreat. The chalet is nestled in a magical location surrounded by breathtaking nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house itself was everything we could have wished for – cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed with traditional touches that made it feel truly special. The three bedrooms were comfortable, and the living and dining areas were perfect for spending quality time together. The fully equipped kitchen and the indoor barbecue area were fantastic for preparing meals, and the outdoor leisure space was ideal for relaxing while enjoying the fresh mountain air. Its proximity to the natural pools of Porto Moniz (just 2 km away!) and the Bride's Veil Viewpoint made exploring the stunning surroundings effortless. Porto Moniz is truly a magical place !!!!

A lovely home that is very fully furnished. You can easily walk here without a car. We were here for 3 weeks and the first two weeks, we had a great time in this area. You can take beautiful walks. You can get on the bus at the corner of the street to Santana and Funchal. The last week we rented a car so we could also visit the other parts of the island. But we believe this is the most beautiful part of the island. There is a levada walk within walking distance. Luz van a House on Madeira is friendly and very accessible. She responded very quickly and adequately to our messages. Madeira stole our heart! And this place really felt like home to us. So we can definitely recommend this place. If you take a bus to Machicio from the plane, you can take the bus there and you can get off behind the cottage. When you are here, you should definitely walk to the local bakery!

The accomodation was nice, soooo quiet and peaceful. Only the bird chirping we can hear during our stay. the view from the covered terace was amazing. it was easy to reach the house by car. We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage.

Stay in a fabulous environment, you don't get tired of the view from the terraces which is magnificent. Nelson, our host is very welcoming, friendly and responsive. We had a great time in this city that we would recommend without reservation!

José is a super nice host and takes the time to talk to his guests and give good tips. His house overlooking the sea is super nice, very spacious and also very tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay at this place. José, we will be happy to come back.

This place is absolutely beautiful, with an even more beautiful view. I genuinely think it’s one of the best views you can get on the whole island! Very comfy and cosy, with plenty of blankets and heating for the colder months. Only a tiny negative for me is that you do have neighbours in front of you which I didn’t realise how overlooked you are when sitting/relaxing on the front porch. However, this wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

A really fantastically beautiful place overlooking the sea! Resting on one of the private terraces after strenuous hikes was a highlight of our vacation! We would come back anytime and can fully recommend Andreas and Peter's place!

This is a beautiful historic home located outside the small town of Camacha, about 15 minutes from Funchal by car. Well set back from the road and area is quiet at night, mild road noise during the day if the windows are open. The home is just as described and pictured in the photos with one exception - the paint is mildewed and peeling off in a small section of the bathroom ceiling. The house was very clean and and during our 2 week stay, we also received one housekeeping visit/linen change with no extra charge. We had no need for A/C, and the radiators kept the house toasty at night. There were dehumidifers in the house but we found it dry and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. No rodent/insect issues. A sweet small dog resides on the property. There is a lovely levada walk in the back of grounds as well. Host responded promptly to all questions. Shopping center with supermarket, laundromat 5 minutes drive. Appliances worked well. We enjoyed it

We really enjoyed our stay in Aurelio & Sietske's cozy house! The area is beautiful for beautiful walks and excursions, which is easy to do both on foot and by bus. In addition, there are all kinds of nice restaurants and terraces within walking distance. Furthermore, the house has everything you need and Aurelio & Sietske were very helpful. Thank you!
