My team and I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend. The price was perfect and the Airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to act as a homebase for sleeping and doing some light cooking while we explored New Orleans. I cannot exaggerate how great of a host Mildred is. She was extremely accommodating to the team and is the reason we were able to have this trip at all. We ran late for check out and she adjusted the time no questions asked. This airbnb is about an hour from the city and close to other, small beautiful towns. From here, we drove to the lakefront, the city, and local restaurants. We went on a jog in the morning, and the neighborhood was safe and lovely. We had no hesitations about leaving our equipment in the van or airbnb. There is also a small fire pit we used, and the host made sure there was some wood available without us asking. The dishwasher was a great help. We slept great. This is a top-tier place to stay for a small group! I cannot say enough!

I have stayed with Mike and Miriam several times over the past two years. I love the unit. It is perfect for me and my dogs. I had a stroke several years ago and am still wheelchair bound much of the time. The unit is easy for me to traverse in my wheelchair. Mike put in a rail system for the bathroom to help me get on and off the toilet. Mike and Miriam have become good friends. This is a great place to stay.

This house was very beautiful and spacious. My daughter was playing in High school Division 1 5A championship and location of the house was very convenient to SLU, 10 minutes away. The house itself provided my family and I with everything and beds were really comfortable. House is fairly new with all great amenities. I would stay here again if I’m back in the area.
