Monthly Rentals in Alijó

A truly memorable stay in a quintessential small Douro valley village. The place is as described and a true gem. The dinner paired with wines was a highlight of our stay as was the company. Highly recommend. Beware however that cell service as you enter the remote hamlet with very narrow lanes may be lost rendering your gps useless. Luckily we found service near the church and Jet came and escorted us to her place which is not the easiest to find.

Our stay was excellent, everything clean and organized, we went in the winter and yet we slept very well with the air conditioning. Lady Lucia welcomed us and is a sweetheart. No need to search for other listings in the area, Susana's listing is perfect for you. Gratitude!

This is the smartest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The flat is beautifully presented, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook even a big dinner! The bathrooms are modern and immaculate. Although the description of the flat says that it does not have heating, in fact the air con works also as heating if required, and the flat was lovely and warm when I arrived. The river view from the bedrooms is delightful.
