The space matches the pictures and description. Very nice bungalow, furnished with love for detail. The surroundings are also great. We felt very comfortable. Will be happy to come back.

We, four cycling and hiking friends, were very hospitably received by Margriet, who was still cleaning. The homemade apple pie was already ready. We were too early, but were allowed to put our groceries and suitcase inside. With your own bikes and a bike from Margriet via the junctions towards Appelscha. Nice lunch at Family's and a short walk to the beautiful lookout tower. What beautiful views! A visit to the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen ( also via the junction cycling route). Impressive, the story of the Colonies of Benevolence. To the Kofferbakbak market in Vledder, where we bought warm hand-knit wool socks. There also visited the Museum of False Art. Great.. Restaurant Posten Nordic in Frederiksoord with Scandinavian cuisine is also recommended. Pricey but definitely worth the money. Margriet, we enjoyed your cozy, comfortable house in a beautiful setting. Who knows, see you soon!

It was wonderful in Karlien's cottage! We enjoyed the cottage, the beautiful garden and the beautiful surroundings very much. Tastes like more!

Had a wonderful stay in Wittelte. The park is quiet, with only some garden maintenance noises on the first beautiful days. By bike you can go to 3 beautiful areas: Holtingerveld, Drents Friese Wold and Dwingelderveld. A workation with computer work was reasonable: you sit at the dining table and internet is sufficient. Only video calling doesn't always go smoothly. The cottage is super complete, which is very nice. Compliments for the screens all around.
