Can’t say enough about the place and the host. Incredible experience out in the dunes - feels like the end of the world. Said is warm and friendly. We did a couple of tours to some of the area dunes and palm groves - beautiful and magical places! Said clearly enjoys sharing his love of the land, and his knowledge about the customs and culture of the region.

Maison Touareg, the apartment in Zagora, managed by Yaich is very special. It is a spacious house with two bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, toilets and shower. Very special is the way it is furnished in a Moroccan style that we didn't know yet. You will imagine yourself in an oriental chic palace. Ceilings and walls finished in soft tones, ranging from lilac and rose to gold-yellow and red. Glittery pillow on the sofas. One bedroom with romantic lighting! In short: a fairytale! The kitchen offers enough equipment and crockery to prepare a meal yourself. Yaich went above and beyond to complete the bedding, but communicating with him (in writing) is a bit difficult due to the language barrier. And the bedding is apparently culture-bound. But so sweet that his mother came to bring fresh towels a few times. Recommended is a visit to Tamegroute, a village about 20 km away with a medieval pottery.

best vibe! the most beautiful place we have slept so far in Morocco. very beautiful colors in the place and the people! the rooms are very neat and clean. the inner courtyard is so cozy and beautiful, doesn't fit in a photo or in a comment. You should visit it if you like simple real things, with beautiful conversations and sharing.

Very nice welcome, the hostel is charming with its bright courtyard. Yaya is good advice. We were in the desert with Youssef who is super friendly and excellent cook!
