Villa vacation rentals in Yucatán Peninsula

This place is truly magical. The nature and its peaceful surroundings were exactly what we had hoped for. The highlight was the sunbed on the roof. Such an amazing spot. Water was warm and the ocean next to some fisher boats all to ourselves. The kitchen’s plancha was another highlight and we had the most comfortable beds of our whole trip. Our day trip with Paco was a great suggestion by Tomás and did not disappoint- from crocodiles to Flamingos and Pelicans, we saw it all and were also able to stroll through Rio Lagartos for lunch, where we also bought some fresh fish directly from the cooperativa - which we made on the plancha. Turns out best fish dish during the holiday! If you want to calm your senses and relaxation in its true form, this is the place! Two tips from our end: don’t forget there is an hour time difference when heading back to Cancuun airport. And also be aware of potential sand flies.

This place was perfect for a girl’s trip! The Airbnb was very spacious and just like the pictures showed. The area is better than you’d think from first pulling up. There are restaurants, shops and bars right around the corner. Felt very safe during our stay!

9 of us stayed in the villa. It was great since we were a mix group each family unit got its own villa. The pool was amazing. We cooked, we grilled we swam etc. the villa is centrally located which makes it easy to get to different parts of the island. Tammi had a great guide book that was extremely helpful as it was our first time to Belize and on the island. While I loved the villa I do wish there living room was bigger in the main house. We were unable to all hangout inside or eat dinner inside but it was a good trade off since we all got our own private spaces. This head up isn’t related to the villa but bring bug spray and aloe Vera because at night the mosquitoes are insane all over the island which is pretty typical whenever you are near large bodies of water.

Our stay at was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the personalized concierge service made all the difference. Carol went above and beyond to ensure our trip was seamless and stress-free—arranging connections for us to receive beautiful flower arrangements, stunning home decor, and a delicious chef dinner. She also helped us explore cenotes and connected us with safe and affordable transportation, making every outing smooth and enjoyable. One of the things we truly appreciated was how accurately the Airbnb description prepared us for what to expect. Everything was just as described, The attention to detail and level of care provided made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back and experience this level of hospitality again.

Stunning and equipped with everything we needed. Centrally located and felt very safe. Really enjoyed our dinner in, cooked by private chef. Great communication from host! Just make sure to burn those citronella candles! We got bitten by mosquitoes.

Our family of 6 had an amazing stay! This home is unique & beautifully designed by the talented owner. The layout of the home is centered around the outdoor area and pool. The kitchen and living space are open space and we were a little nervous about jungle critters but we saw nothing at all alarming except for a few tiny salamanders. It was incredible to come from the cold North to the tropical sights sounds and climate of Tulum. The one thing that needs to be mentioned is the area is under construction and the roads were a bit unnerving. We rented a car and there was no easy way to get to the home unless you perservere through the many deep construction pot holes. Although it was annoying it was worth it to come home to this unique space. We looked at it as an adventure. The staff that was available to us were amazing. Joel cooked a delicious breakfast every morning and the home was kept neat and clean by the grounds and housekeeping crew. The town of Tulum was absolutely charming!

I celebrated my bday with 12 of my friends and rented 2 villas side by side and had an amazing time! We were centrally located in between hotel zone and downtown so we got the best of both worlds. Merle and team went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. They helped book dinners, excursions and transportation for our entire stay! They gave amazing recommendations and offered to grocery shop to stock our villas before arrival. Their reply time to any requests were more prompt than I’ve ever experienced, making last minute needs or requests by our group easy. The villas themselves were extremely clean, beautifully decorated and had all the utensils to cook our own meals. Great place for large groups! I would absolutely recommend this villa! There’s even a wonderful local cenote just a short 10 minute walk down the road that is a must see.

Our stay was fabulous! The house is beautiful and the pool and dock were great. We had a big group and six kids with us and the house accommodated all of our needs. The casita was perfect for the family with the younger children for nap etc. All of the staff were so kind and gracious and helpful. The house was cleaned every day which is always a big treat and helpful at the beach. The pool and grounds were also attended to everyday and looked beautiful. We loved the ease of getting into the ocean from the dock — great for snorkeling. And the pool was perfect for the kids. We also loved the big outdoor dining table so we could have family meals. Marilu, Bryan, and Cristofer were all extremely responsive and helpful. We hope we can stay again sometime in the future!

I am SO happy that we found Villa de Paz. Scott and crew at Akumal Direct were wonderful hosts in every way. We came with a group of 12 and the home perfectly accommodated all of us. The feeling of the home is relaxed and retreat-like. The neighborhood very quiet, and the construction on the adjacent property was not too interruptive of our time at the home (mornings till about 10, and afternoons after 5) The house staff was such a blessing for me in particular. It was so wonderful to come home to a clean and tidy place EVERY DAY! Dishes DONE! Please come prepared to tip these wonderful people! The lagoon access was incredible, so take advantage of it in the early morning or late afternoon. You will have it almost all to yourself. A short, pleasant walk. Glorious! Take advantage of the grocery delivery service, too, through Riviera Maya Grocery Delivery. It was so wonderful to have a stocked kitchen on the night of our arrival.

We had the best time at CasaSense!!!! The house is absolutely stunning and so spacious. The only negative was the bumpy dirt road to get there. It was desolate and frustrating, however the house itself is beautiful. I recommend for large groups and definitely book the Chef and private transportation! We felt very safe and had a blast.

Booking Oscar's villa was key to an amazing bachelorette weekend! Before we even arrived in Tulum, Oscar was proactive, making sure we had transportation arrangements to and from the airport and throughout our visit. When we arrived, Oscar and his staff made sure we had all the instructions and everything we needed for our stay. He checked in a couple times and when we needed something like extra dishwasher soap, he made sure that housekeeping brought some later that day. This was one of the cleanest Airbnb's I've ever been at! The pool and Jacuzzi were in perfect condition and we enjoyed them every single day of our trip. We had zero issues with electricity or hot water. Beds were clean, huge, and very comfortable. Area quiet and tranquil. Finally, booking the private chef through Oscar was seamless, and we had an incredible meal waiting for us when we came back from the beach. The service is unmatched, you won't regret staying at this house!!

This was such a fantastic home and we had an amazing stay! Lupita was incredibly helpful and very responsive with helping us set up local excursions, reservations, cars, etc. All were fantastic and such a great experience. She went above and beyond and we had the best time. The house is absolutely stunning and perfect for a big group. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding staff, general manager Guillermo went over and above to assistance with all of our needs. The chef Juan meals were outstanding, the housekeepers were extremely friendly and cleaned way better than our housekeepers back home. They did our laundry and any special cleaning we requested. The entire staffed treated us like family. We would defiantly be back.

Loved this beautiful place! We got this space for a large group of friends. The place has several private rooms. Some rolls Have their own bathroom, balcony and kitchen. The outdoor kitchen is as perfect and the pool was clean. It was located close to the airport and within a gated community. It was safe and comfortable Highly recommended

Absolutely stunning place in a quiet area of Playa del Carmen. Perfect for a special trip due to the amazing design and amenities of the house. Antonio's communication was great throughout our whole stay. If you are staying for a long time, I'd recommend renting a car, since the closest mall/ the city centre is about a 15 mins walk away from the house.

Aqua Viva is a very nice and peaceful place to relax after a day in town. Katy's place is an oasis of luxury, with beautiful furnishings and great decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful, driving to town is short, parking is free and the best spot is in Municipal Palace Plazza, in front of the stores. Our trip was great and memorable.

Beautiful place, exactly as photos show. Always felt safe not only at the Airbnb, but even when out and about! (walking or driving) Rooftop is perfect to catch some sun, then head downstairs to plunge in the pool! Hosts are very very responsive, offering help/suggestions almost immediately. *Highly suggest renting a car/ATV/scooter to get around. Thank you again for our stay and we will be returning to Tulum in the future :)

We booked Casa Manika last minute after having issues with our previous Airbnb, and it turned out to be the best decision! The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully furnished and decorated. Literally like on the pictures of the listing. We were also very happy how cozy and comfortable the beds were. Ulf, the host, was incredible. He not only made the last-minute booking seamless but also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Tulum. He even organized a private driver for our group, which made getting around super easy. I would recommend that to every group because the taxi prices are crazy. The location in Aldea Zama was also perfect, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. Luckily there is no construction anywhere nearby, which is apparently very rare in Tulum. Truly a little paradise. We only wish we could have stayed a few days longer! Highly recommend Casa Manika for anyone visiting Tulum!

My partner and I spent 6 lovely nights at this property in Tulum. Our hosts Alexis and Cindy went above and beyond leading up to and for the duration of our stay. They made check in seamless, answered all of our questions as first time visitors to Tulum and gave great recommendations. Their attention to detail and availability was amazing! The house itself is beautiful. Very clean, quiet, and well decorated. Towels, coffee, soap, shampoo and other amenities are included. If you are looking for a spot in Tulum slightly away from DT then this is a must stay.
