Indie - The 100% Electric Classic Camper

YADIANARating, 5 stars12 months ago
Kit was really flexible on pickup of Indie, working around us when our arrival time was all over the place, and kindly guiding us through the induction despite the late hour. Indie itself is a character, I've definitely been spoilt by the mod cons of driving a modern EV! Once you're used to the truck-style steering, and I'd recommend just keeping it in 3rd gear all the time for simplicity sake, it's very easy to get used to and just glides along. Sleeping in Indie in winter is a lot like just normal camping, it's really a Summer vehicle so expect to use a duvet and sleeping bag to keep warm, and keep your hiking layers on while inside, when you need to cook or store food is really when it comes into its own. Cooking on the provided induction hob is a dream, and there's enough room for most perishables for three or four days. All in all we had a really fun and eventful trip, and Indie added a new layer to our holiday that made travelling really flexible and more like an adventure! 🤠

We had a last minute stay with Dave for a music event, my second time staying at the motorhome for an event. Dave is brilliant with communication and always happy to accommodate. The motorhome is exactly as described and Dave is happy to answer any questions promptly. Lovely stay yet again. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Joan's caravan. It's tucked away so feels like you're in your own little place, with views of the fields where we say lots of rabbits. Joan and Brian were very friendly and welcoming. The location was quiet, which makes for a peaceful getaway. Thank you Joan & Brian.

Quirky converted horse box with panoramic verandah

AdamRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Sharon couldn’t been more accommodating, she had left us a wonderful surprise for my partners birthdays. She was very responsive and helpful and made us really feel at home. Tannenbaum was very dog friendly which helped our two dogs enjoy it too. Sharon was also very present and couldn’t have done more to make our weekend stay special. The private Hot tub with Annie plus the communal bar and coffee pod were welcome additions. Would definitely recommend and we will be back again!

Stayed one night , absolutely perfect for my requirements , in that I have dogs and there was a private area for them to mooch round in , as well as plenty of on leash space to walk them. The ‘Military Vehicle’ hut was a cosy more than adequate place to stay. I will most definitely use again and more than happy to recommend to friends 👍

Private field Glamping on a farm in Samlesbury

LanchanaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place is brilliant! We had a group of 12 girls that got together for a girls night, BBQ, drinks, quizzes, marshmallows round the camp fire. It had everything we needed and host was clear about what to bring (pillows, sleeping bag etc). You have the whole field to yourself, there’s some seating in the ‘kitchen’ if it starts to rain, portaloo was spotless. There’s two single beds, so if you don’t want to bunk with someone either claim those or take your own tent to pitch up. Perfect location for a large group, would definitely recommend and book again!

Didnt utilise the place enough, great place in what feels a world of its own. You feel far away from life and the busy nature it is. Perfect to relax, unwind, chill, recharge and rest from life itself. The surrounding areas are beautiful and there are a few nice towns to visit close by. Kirsty is a great host and i would highly recommend

Charming handy for Lake District

PaigeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed in Archie over New Year with our spaniel and absolutely loved it. The hut was private, we couldn’t hear a single thing (apart from the sound of nature which was stunning), and the underfloor heating made it super cosy! The little touches from Hilary like a welcome message, milk in the fridge, and a little New Year’s treat were a lovely thought. No question was too much and the recommendation/info book at Archie was great. Amenities were perfect for us two - enough space and kitchen/bathroom were spotless! The bed was incredibly comfy - we both slept great and our dog loved the warm floor. A super location for easy access to plenty of Wainwrights to walk, and easy to get to places like Keswick, Ullswater, Penrith and Ambleside. Thank you so much - we’ll definitely be coming back! Alex & Paige. X

Tilly our B&B retro caravan.

FionaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
an absolutely beautiful little caravan, lots of thoughtful details in a private area on their land. Karen was a fantastic host, she had thought of everything before we got there, the heater was on, milk, tea and coffee available, adding to that instantly homely feeling. She had even advised ahead of arrival about activities on over the weekend we may like. Breakfast in the morning was out of this world, fresh local produce, beautifully prepared. An absolutely wonderful little stay, will definitely return, beautiful place, beautiful peoples.

Annie's Horse Wagon

LisaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wagon was tastefully decorated with plenty of heating. The seating area was lovely along with the hot tub. We thought it was a lovely touch that Claire the host left milk, bread, butter, bacon and eggs. There was bread and coffee provided along with some biscuits. We would love to visit again and would recommend this to our friends and family. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Lovely Static Caravan on the East Yorkshire Coast

TammyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Laura’s place was lovely and she provided essentials like milk, cereal, shower gel and such, which we really appreciated as we arrived late due to traffic and didn’t have time to stop for milk on the way. There was a load of games and toys for the kids to play with in the cupboards as well. It’s a short walk to the main area with the pool and restaurant and entertainment which is great with small children. Laura was an amazing host, super friendly, super attentive and quick to reply. And we had a really lovely weekend . Thank you Laura! See you again soon I’m sure!
