Monthly Rentals in Yamanakako, Minamitsuru District

We had a wonderful stay at Fumio’s place! He was a great host from the beginning to the end. He picked us up at the train station and explained what we can do in the area. He knows good restaurants and cafes that we really enjoyed. Especially Kazeuta restaurant was just steps away from his house and had a great homemade style comfort food! We went Mt. Fuji, Fuji Radar Dome area, and Oshino Hakkai. Those were amazing! All was not so difficult to go by bus if you planned it very well because bus comes only every hour. I also enjoyed Fumio’s Hinoki bath. It smelled so good and relaxing. If you’re interested in Japanese lifestyle near Mt. Fuji, I highly recommend Fumio’s place!

The home itself is a gem. It is a large home with traditional Japanese mats, and wood sliding doors. It has a private driveway and a secluded property great for hiking. Inside the home, downstairs included a living room, a bedroom with attached sun room, bathroom; and a wide walkway to a fully furnished kitchen with electric oven. Upstairs included two additional bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with the same layout option as downstairs. Undoubtedly, the bedrooms & baths are spacious than hotel rooms! Beautiful sceneries of Mt. Fuji and Chureito Pagoda, Sengen-jinja temple, and Fujikawaguchiko village are just some of the most memorable places that is not too far from Tsuru both by train and car. Safe walking distance to local supermarket, restaurants, and Saigan-ji temple. Definitely, a welcoming and comfortable place for a return stay!

very nice host, kind hearted.. the best service is owner willing pick up and drop off at the station gotemba.. the house was beautiful, so peacefull, and i can see the mt fuji from the kitchen .. its clearly and wonderful! perfect location and very good hospitality.. reccommended!!!
