There is plenty to say about Jean Louis and Vinh's place. The location itself is tucked away from the main road giving you plenty of peace and quiet, despite the occasional barking dog or rowdy neighbor. The dogs of our hosts are some of friendliest and will frequently chill with you. Prepare for mosquitos if you are prone to bites. Left behind an electric racket for the next guest and Vinh always provides other mosquito repellents. Our host makes you feel like you are part of the family, occasionally providing us with fruits/veggies, local insights, and pretty much anything else you need. Any concerns or questions are addressed immediately. Although the place itself is a bit rough around the edges, the heart and soul of it is strong. Lao hospitality at its finest. We were even offered to move to a different room if desired. Pics could use a bit of updating, as the garden isn't as lively as shown, not a deal breaker for us though. Small peaceful haven where everything is tastefully thought out. Huge pool, great after the heat of the days in town. Hosts are very attentive.

The accommodation was very good and tidy. However, it was a little expensive, but there was a private bedroom and a private bathroom, so it was very nice to host guests. The living room was also spacious, so it was a very pleasant environment.
