A really fantastic place to stay. Every member of the family loved it. This was a house that you wanted to hang out in and felt really home from home. High quality and immaculate. Loved the location and the peace and quiet!

Stunning place by the sea!! Not many you can actually sit on the sofa and see the waves crashing. So much space which was perfect for us as we went with our Labrador who takes up a lot of room. There was everything you needed and more. The location is also great, most of the shops and cafes were dog friendly, the Chinese was amazing which was our New Year’s Eve treat before spending the evening with some bubbles in the hot tub! Definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

We have had a fantastic week at Beachside! Beautiful house and garden just a few meters from the beach and sea! The house was extremely clean and very spacious! Des is a fantastic host, very clear instructions and recommendations and a kind gift left for us too… we would definitely look to return to Beachside! ☀️

Perfect location to explore the area, especially for the Maritime Festival which was right outside and a great atmosphere. Very well equipt house and felt home from home. The only thing I would say is that the floorboards upstairs are very noisy and the bedroom doors squeak so might not be the best for light sleepers, didn't bother us too much as had young children so we knew when they got up in the night 🤣🤣

Helen was so helpful! Her place is absolutely spotless. Well equipped for a family! Kitchen is fantastic, everything you need! Great garden area which is private and secure which was perfect for our pooch! This house is exceptionally clean. We will be back - Thank you Helen x

Fantastic stay at Maysmore, beautiful house with everything you need for a break away from home. Quick walk into Lynmouth village. Sally is a great host who is very responsive. We will be back again for our 3rd visit in the near future.

My husband and I took our 18 month old and dog to Sue’s place the past few days and we loved it! The weather was terrible so we were inside most of the time and couldn’t use the hot tub, but we couldn’t fault this home and the little touches Sue provided for us. 100% staying here!

We had the most wonderful stay in Appledore. The hosting was top notch, with prompt replies and really supportive responses to my requests, as I was travelling with a relative with health issues. The house is beautiful, everything you could need and so stylish. I have taken lots of inspiration from the interiors for my own house! And the location is incredible with a magnificent sea view and great pubs, restaurants, cafes and a deli nearby. Appledore is a gem of a village, I had not heard of it before this trip. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Edd and Andrea for enabling my parents and I to have such a special and memorable stay.

Had a fantastic time with all my family, had everything you could possibly need and more!, games room was fantastic! Hot tub with the most amazing view, Huge dinner table was lovely to have all the family have a meal together. Everything was clean and smells great, so much space ! Neil was extremely responsive, would definitely book again

Absolutely beautiful place, great interior with beach style decorations. Toys in the 2nd bedroom. Very clean and well presented house. Perfect sea view, close to the main club house where all the action is, also close to the main park. Cute welcome package of necessities, which was very helpful as we got there late on the Friday night.

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

Nice little chalet. It's a bit of a walk down to the sea (we didn't walk it because we were told the recent rain had washed out some of the path so we drove to a nearby beach).

Perfect location to walk to the beach with our 2 dogs. Cori very helpful with a map of easiest way to get to the beach from the house. House just as described, clean and well equipped. lovely welcome pack. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in April.

We had a really lovely stay over the New Year. There was plenty of room for 2 families of 4 and our dog. We all were able to get into the hot tub together (minus our dog)! The property is 2 cottages converted into one so the layout is quirky and we didn’t use one of the kitchens much but we soon got used to the set up. The doors are quite low in the downstairs so if you’re very tall you need to remember to duck to get through! The cottage was in a gorgeous location and the stream could be heard from inside; it was very peaceful. The beds were so comfortable and the bed rooms cosy and dark in the morning. We could have stayed much longer and would definitely come back. The cottage was cleaned to a very high standard and the two bathrooms were useful for two families. The location was great. The beach was steps away and the cottage such a short distance from Lee Bay and Woolacombe. We were brave enough to get in the sea on 2nd January! Thankyou for having us x

We had an amazing stay, the house has everything you could ever need, the location is great and the beach is amazing! Lisa is a great host, communication was excellent. We could not fault anything and we will definitely be back!

Tartooga is in a great location for access to Woolacombe and the beach but also peaceful and felt private. Keida communicated well and rushed to get the house ready for us to check in early. The parking space opposite is really handy as parking is expensive. Photos and listing accurate. Kids liked the bunk bed and Keida added a mattress in the bedroom so we did not have to set up the sofa bed each night for the older child. Thank you for a lovely stay

Very comfortable and spacious house in a great location. Short walk to town centre and the golf course.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property on a group trip with friends. Highlights: The number of bathrooms per person is extremely useful after a day of surfing. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment to make a nice meal. There is loads of space, and a very homely feel to the living area. The property overlooks a field and you can see views of the sea from the balcony. I would highly recommend and will hopefully be back next year!

Chapel House was the perfect home from home for me and my family for our Remembrance day and forthcoming birthday. Everything about the house is just super and is within walking distance to bars and eateries. My granddaughters enjoyed the nearby Croyde beach which is also within walking distance but our main reason for visiting was to go to the beautiful National Trust Baggy Point. Both Joanne and Georgina were quick to answer any questions I had and they even left me a birthday cake with candles and happy birthday banner. Chapel House was so comfortable we wouldn’t hesitate going back. Highly recommended.

We were a three generation family of 6 adults and 4 boys ranging from 18 months to 5 years. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The room with games and toys was lovely and the boys referred to it as their office😀 lovely holiday
