Beach house vacation rentals in England

The location and the condition of this house is amazing. It's a short drive from the ferry, with buses running from Ryde to various parts of the island, making it super helpful for tourists. We had BEAUTIFUL sea views from our bed (one can fall asleep looking at the colour changing on the sea) or the huge picture window in the living room. Very cosy and sufficient in terms of amenities within as well as around the house. the bedroom and bathroom spaces are wonderful. Our children had a lovely time in the bedroom clearly set up for kids. We went in winter and the place was snug and warm with running hot water and comfy duvets. The hosts are very accommodating and we definitely want to go back to stay again!

What a beautiful place! A group of the girls got together for my 40th, and we had such a lovely time. A couple of things came up, but things that Lee was so quick to respond to, where possible. We didn’t use the games, or TVs, but they have a great selection of games & a TV in each room. We loved the jukebox & the open layout of the downstairs kitchen/diner/lounge. The place feels very tucked away, whilst also being very central, which is great. The welcome wine & snacks were a lovely touch. Thank you!

Perfect birthday seaside retreat. House in stunning location overlooking the sea with everything you could possibly need. Clean and tidy, you were made to feel welcome from the moment you stepped through the doors. The welcome pack provided by Lousie was an added treat. Highly recommend. Just need to return in the summer now, to truly appreciate the outside space.

Had a gorgeous stay in this lovely home just after Christmas. Rosie’s home has great space, with lots of room for large families with young children. It’s right on the coast with walks and parks nearby. Rosie helpfully left lots of recommendations for places to get food and things to do. What made this stay exceptional however was all the thoughtful touches Rosie had put in place like keeping the rooms festive over the Christmas period, a little welcome box of essentials and toys/books/activities that my daughter could use. We had a really brilliant time and would highly recommended this place as a little bolthole for a few days.

we absolutely loved staying here, a beautiful house with an incredible beach side location. Strolling through the back garden and straight on to the sand dunes was a real treat. The interior of the house is incredible and hugely relaxing and it had everything you needed for a lovely stay. would love to come back one day again.

Mark was very responsive. We had an issue on New Year’s Day which was addressed very quickly, and fairly dealt with subsequently. Great location and great fun.

We stayed at Lydstep Haven for the weekend and had a great time. The location is simply beautiful and the views are spectacular. The accommodation was just as described, well thought out, cosy and well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. Julie is a lovely host and checked in daily to see if we were ok and having a good time as well as recommendations for places to visit. My children had a great time with lots of family time, walks on the beach and visits in to Tenby. They were very impressed with the selection of DVD’s once we steeled down for the evening. A lovely restful weekend and we certainly plan to come back again in the summer. Thank you!

We had 3 adults and 6 kids under 4 in the caravan and we had an amazing time. We didnt actually spend that much time in the air b and b as there is so much to do in the local area and the facilities are so good. This is especially good considering it is February! The hosts were so responsive and understanding. We are hoping to come again and recreate a magical stay. We had reservations about so many toddlers in such a small space but it was a great set up. The place is beautifully presented with fabulous amenities. We all enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna immensely and the pool table and darts were also well used throughout our stay. A really lovely place for a family holiday!

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Halula Beach House for my hen do weekend, it was the perfect pad! Pool, hot tub, silent disco, huge table we could all sit round… and just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend it!

We spent 3 nights at this house with extended family members. We ranged in age from 4 -54 and we all had a great time. The house was immaculate and we had no faults. Plenty of space if you needed 5 minutes alone it was amazing. We will definitely be back. Kris was very friendly and explained everything, thanks kris

My family and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Oaks and we all wished we could have stayed longer. The house is well equipped, clean and tidy. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and 1 infant. The bedrooms were comfortable with fresh linen. I particularly booked this accommodation for the outside pool and this didn't disappoint. A perfect size pool for us and we enjoyed sitting around the garden and pool area. Beautiful Sobo beach is walking distance from the house and there are many good places to eat and drink nearby. We enjoyed a birthday celebration lunch at The Captains club restaurant which we would highly recommend, great food and attentive staff. A big thank you to Maggie And Peter for a great airbnb property.

We have had a fantastic week at Beachside! Beautiful house and garden just a few meters from the beach and sea! The house was extremely clean and very spacious! Des is a fantastic host, very clear instructions and recommendations and a kind gift left for us too… we would definitely look to return to Beachside! ☀️

Booked this beautiful property last minute for our Christmas break and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The location is absolutely perfect, literally steps from the beach with stunning sea views that take your breath away. Tom and Stacey were fantastic hosts, responding quickly to all our queries and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and ideal for families, with everything you could need for a home-away-from-home experience. The only minor issue was the slow Wi-Fi connection, which might be worth noting if you need reliable internet access. Despite this small drawback, we would highly recommend this property, particularly for families looking for a coastal getaway. The combination of great location, beautiful accommodation, and attentive hosts made for a wonderful Christmas break.

We were in Swanage for the annual folk dance weekend, it was very easy to walk to the town centre, the beach and all the amenities and the parking space behind the house was a bonus. Lovely house, very clean and well appointed, looked like it had been recently refurbished as everything was pristine. There was also the Crows Nest Inn opposite which was quirky, lovely landlord, fabulous food and we sat on an old pew bench seat from an old church! The only drawback to the house was that we found it slightly small to accommodate six adults, it would have been better suited to a family. Simon, the owner, was really responsive to any query and very friendly. Would stay again if there were fewer of us.

We had a lovely 4 days away celebrating my mother in-laws 70th. Antonina's hospitality was great, the house was spotless and she had even prepped the Swim spa which we weren't expecting to be available. The house had everything we needed for our break. Thank you.

The beach house was everything I hoped for in a coastal getaway—relaxing, cozy, modern and full of charm! The place feels so welcoming, with light, airy decor that’s perfect for a beach vibe. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook a nice meal, and the living space was a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach. It was super clean and had little touches, like comfy throws and beachy accents, that made it feel special. The beach is on the doorstep - so close that I could hear the waves from the bedroom. There are also some great little cafes and shops nearby in Rye, which made exploring really easy. Julie was awesome—super friendly, quick to answer any questions I had and happy to help at any time. If you’re looking for a chill spot to unwind by the beach, this is it. I’m already planning my next trip back!

We spent a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Tara’s beautiful house. The location is superb and the house accommodated our two families perfectly. It’s very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Couldn’t have asked for more from the house! Tara was also a very responsive and helpful host.
