House vacation rentals in Woodfin

Great location in a walkable neighborhood of Black Mountain, NC. House is warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time there. Rooms are small and it is hard to imagine 12 people staying in this place. We are a family of 8 and it seemed a bit cramped at times. If you plan to eat meals together at the house it would be difficult to have seating for all; there is no real kitchen table. Kitchen is cozy, but they do have two, one upstairs and one downstairs in a cleverly concealed staircase. There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash and dry dishes if you eat at the house. Kids really enjoyed to pool and hot tub. Also the inside of the house is warm and inviting, personal decorations and books and toys will make a family feel right at home or potentially nervous that something will be left out of place or broken. Overall, we felt the place suited our needs and we were thankful for our time there. Hosts clearly love their home and have done a nice job making it a place that is inviting.

Incredibly beautiful home in the mountains!! We could not have picked a better place to stay for our long weekned in AVL. Seth and Blanche's home is beatifully decorated, clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Our teenage boys enjoyed having the first floor to themselves, it was like they had their own apartment for the weekend!! Game room and living room with the secional to watch movies was a huge hit! The views from the front porch and deck are gorgeous and we hope to visit again in the summer to enjoy the pool. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

Great place. Easy walk to many mountain biking and hiking trails and easy uber to downtown Asheville

Great place! Comfortable, well decorated, well appointed. The pool and hot tub were so enjoyable. The place even has yoga mats. Location both private and bucolic but also close enough to the highway. Highly recommended rental!

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

It was cloudy and rainy most of our stay but it didn't matter. The house is so big and very comfortable. The indoor pool was wonderful. (They are very strict about kids not being allowed in the hot tub though.) We were able to use all of the outdoor amenities, too. The house is charming! The kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds and being able to play with the balls on the pool table. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The place is great, and Catherine was very responsive and proactive. We had a problem with the cleaning, and on the same minute, she was able to solve this problem. The view is amazing.

Loved staying at Hannah’s property. Perfect for our group of two couples. Absolutely loved the thoughtful design and decorations. The location is also perfect with new Belgium brewery just steps away and everything in RAD and downtown Asheville just a quick drive away. Hannah and her team were also so quick to respond with any qs and we loved their recommendations from their host recommendations page.

Molly’s place was great for a weekend getaway to Asheville but it would be suitable for a long stay as well. Three bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. One on the first floor. Everything you would need and very comfortable beds.

My mother & I were here during Hurricane Helene. The house is surrounded by trees, we were fortunate none came down & no flooding as the house is higher up the mountain. As visitors with no food/water stores, we were so lucky to meet the incredible neighbors who helped us by sharing their food, water & flashlights-the local bridge washed away and there was no way out. The Airbnb itself was perfect & exactly what we had hoped for. Everything was clean, tidy, & comfortable. We loved the modern decor & enjoyed the 1 night we had power. The porch is beautiful. We saw bears right near the house. Note the driveway is very steep but mom made it up/down by foot slowly tho not the plan. After losing power & water like the rest of the city, Matilda sent a friend over by foot to check on us. We also got to meet her in person as we were being evacuated by ATV (my mother being 80 yrs old) & she gave us water & also refunded days without power and water. Recommend staying when area is restored.

We had a short stay and not enough time to really enjoy it. The home was cozy and spotless, just as advertised! Gayle was helpful and flexible with our changing schedule, and even went by to turn on the lights for us when we weren't going to be there until dark. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay at Holly’s place. It was clean, well stocked, and felt secluded while still being a short drive from downtown Asheville. Holly was communicative and accommodating.

I stayed at this lovely artist retreat on the heels of some tough life changes, and it was the perfect atmosphere of peace and beauty my soul was searching for. Beautifully and tastefully decorated with incredible art and wide open spaces, it was a perfect respite. Clean, well equipped, and with friendly canine visitors, the house had all the ingredients for a sweet getaway. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We booked with Ian last second due to our previous airbnb not being ready and the hot tub was broken… Ian was quick in action to have cleaners get to the house before we finished biltmore, the house was beautiful and very clean, we enjoyed the privacy his house had to offer! This property we stayed at was by far the best house and the cleanest of all properties I have ever stayed at! The property is VERY close to downtown Asheville!! 10/10 recommend booking with this host!!

This was an excellent choice for our extended family. My parents, myself, and each of my kids had their own private bedrooms. In addition, there were two bathrooms upstairs plus a half-bath downstairs. We enjoyed lots of areas to sit and visit with family. The dining table was big enough to accommodate us all and we even had enough room to play several card games. The kitchen had a nice big refrigerator/freezer and was well stocked with anything we needed. The Keurig got lots of use since we are all big coffee drinkers. I liked that we didn't have to bring any linens/towels. In addition, having a washer and dryer on site made it easy to have plenty of clean towels to use. The hot tub outside was an added perk!

This Tiny Home was amazing for s get away. It was exactly what was listed, and there was lots to do near by! Host were very responsive and welcoming to the property.

This space is a true gem in the mountains! I was quite surprised by how high up the mountain it was but was easily ascended with our mini van rental. She took extra time to decorate the house with festive Christmas decorations and it made it truly special. Best Airbnb experience ever!
