The cottage was warm and comfortable, had been thoughtfully furnished and was really well appointed. Cooking utensils etc were plentiful as was cutlery and crockery and everything you would need for self catering. I could not fault it in any way and will definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Our stay in Maple Pod over the new year was exactly what we asked for. Lucy was amazing from the start. We received a message the day before letting us know we could check in from an earlier time if we wanted and also received a message the morning of our departure saying that we could have a later check out if we wanted. The hosts even left a token gift of Prosecco and chocolates when we arrived lovely touch The pod was perfect: spotless kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom. The views from the pod were beautiful even if it was a terrible storm whilst we were there. Our dog had the time of his life roaming free in the fields. We can’t thank you enough for our perfect new year stay and hope to be back in spring summer time.

What a great place to stay and such lovely people. The flat is perfect for visiting all the Auckland Project attractions and as a base for exploring the area, and is so well equipped - had everything I could have needed. Really felt like a home away from home and Gary and Fiona were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here next time am in the area. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable.
