Hard to praise Hodder Cottage enough. Luxury is exactly right. Ian and Sue have thought of everything. Brilliantly equipped, spotlessly clean. Highly recommend Oakdean Cottages. 5mins from the A59 and close to the pretty village of Whalley. Ian and Sue were very kind. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this property, great location, very clean it was more than we could have asked for and will definitely stay again next time we visit the area. An outstanding 5☆☆☆☆☆ from me!!

The house was everything we could have expected. In a quiet spot with great views and sheep to greet you in the morning. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Two bathrooms and an extra loo downstairs was very 'convenient'! As you can tell, we greatly enjoyed our short stay.

Lovely Old Home 10mins drive from the center or Blackburn and a Great base for exploring the Countryside. Stayed here while vising family over Christmas. The House is an older property and has a few scars and dings here n there. But in some ways that only adds to the Charm and we immediately felt at home there. Feels 'Lived in' unlike some places that are very cold and clinical. Not this place. Great Kitchen with everything you could want. Washing machine / Dryer & a Great TV. Lovely furniture, Huge comfy sofa / chairs. Great internet and amazing views. 4 mins walk to a train station which will take you almost anywhere (We went to watch a show in Manchester City Centre). Walking distance to pubs and Grocery stores. The Lady next door stopped by to say hello and was very friendly. Host (Alexandra) very responsive and helped us with a little issue we had very quickly. So glad we found this place and had a great stay. 5 stars from me ! Thank you so much!
