Felt right at home. Immaculately clean. Very warm even though it was freezing outside! Lovely shower. Tom was really helpful with local knowledge and very responsive.

Great spot! The location could not have been more perfect for walking to family members in the area and shopping. House was ideal for our family of 4. The Christmas decorations made us feel right at home as we were so far away from Arizona. House was very clean as well. Thank you for being so responsive.

We really enjoyed our short stay. The house is excellent and we especially loved the kitchen diner and the stunning views. The decking & garden area are great for the better weather. The house was well heated for our winter visit with thermostat control. We would definitely return again if visiting the area.

from checking in to checking out Tracey gave us lots of recommendations for local restaurants, parks and beaches nearby. our favourite one was druridge bay cress well dunes, it's free parking kids loved playing on the sand dunes, looking for sea glass and the dog loved the waves. we were close by to everything we wanted to visit. our favourite being holy Island we saw seals in the sea and even saw a baby still on the shore it was incredible

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lottie’s mini house. It was a solo visit in the end as my partner was poorly, but it would have been perfect for the two of us and great for our two little dogs due to the little garden out the back. Check in was very easy. The place is very tastefully decorated, private and the space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I was able to park my car directly outside and although the property is on a busy road, it was very peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the shower room was great with a good shower and the little kitchenette was perfect for preparing breakfast. The location is very convenient - walking distance to a couple of great pubs, a local supermarket and not far from South Gosforth metro station. Newcastle City Centre is a short metro ride away or 10 minutes in an uber. A really great little find and would definitely stay again.

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

We booked for only 2 nights with not much notice. Great set up for the 3 of us. Could have spent longer there. Not easy to find initially but Jamie responded with remarkable swiftness! Appreciated the flexibility on check out as well. All good.

Had a wonderful bank holiday weekend away for my daughter’s 4th birthday at Malcolm’s home from home. Great location, caravan exactly as described and had everything you would need. Malcolm provided quick and clear instructions and even went above and beyond to inform us of local activities going on that might have been of interest to us during our stay. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring the local area. Thanks Malcolm, great host 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay in Claire's family caravan. The Christmas decorations made it feel festive and the chocolates for our daughters and the biscuits she provided for us were a lovely touch. The kitchen was very well equipped and the caravan was cosy and in excellent condition. Claire was very responsive, helpful and keen for us to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We could not have wished for a better host/stay in Whitley Bay- Sarah as well as her place was just fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Check in was super easy and Sarah's communication was incredible. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and having a great stay. The caravan was just as described/ pictured, it was clean and very comfortable. I would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!!!

There is only one negative thing that we can write about our stay at Poppy Cottage and that is to say we wished we could have stayed longer!! Alison and Dawn were excellent hosts, the cottage was amazing - immaculately clean and spacious with everything you could need in the kitchen and living room and a very decent sized garden for the dog to run around and for us to get our paddleboards set up or even just to sit and relax on an evening. Across the road and less than 400m away is one of the most gorgeous beaches on the Northumberland coast and it was so easy to access. The cottage was warm and welcoming - the red velvet cake and fresh milk was a lovely touch - and we used this as a base to have some time in Amble and Alnwick, but to be honest spent most of our time on the beach, including one absolutely stunning sunset. Our family of four (plus dog) can't recommend Poppy Cottage enough and we really hope we get to come back again one day for a longer visit.

This is a lovely, warm and cosy home. I really enjoyed staying here. It is located in a very quiet area where all the houses are very well cared for. A short walk takes you into the town centre and also to the train station. It is ideally located if you do not have a car as the bus stop is at the end of the road also. I would highly recommend this property and Maria is a very effective communicator. I would definitely return!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location. Welcoming and helpful hosts. Great for touring the Northumberland coast and countryside. Certainly on my list to return to.

We really enjoyed our stay. Well presented and equipped house, easy to park. Totally enclosed garden with easy access from house which was great for our dogs. Nearby green space too. Good location for coast.

Lovely little house in a very quiet cul de sac. Very easy to find and to get in. It was lovely to arrive with the heating and a light on. A lovely welcome basket of treat for myself and husband and a lovely jar of treats for our cocker spaniel she loved being included 💞 so Jo’s place is extremely dog friendly not dog tolerated like some :-)) Hot water was plentiful and a good shower. Own parking space. Jo was extremely kind as she gave us an early check in and then a lovely surprise to offer us a late check out - thank you so much 😊 It’s a perfect location for visiting Durham but also for a peaceful retreat just for relaxing 😌 We would certainly recommend and would love to stay again if in the area :-))) xx

Fantastic! What a unique and quirky find this was, last minute booking for us but as my partner is a big fan we booked it. Very cosy and brilliant views. Pam&Tom are perfect hosts and very responsive with any questions or problems you may have. We were lucky enough to capture the northern lights too! The beds are so comfy and everything you need is there. Some lovely places to eat in rothbury, I can’t comment on this as we don’t eat there and cooked for ourselves. We shall we booking again in spring and lighter nights for longer walks.

Needed to contact Gemma to ask about the heating as the place was chilly when we arrived. Gemma responded very quickly and was very helpful getting us sorted. Place was clean. Thanks for a great stay. Would gladly stay again.

Four of us have just spent 3 nights in Peewit Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we all felt right at home, the place was spotless, beds very comfortable too! Everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay was provided. Having the private hot tub was fabulous, we loved it after full days of being tourists in the local area. On a separate note, we would highly recommend a visit to Beamish Museum which was about a 30 min drive, we also spent a day in Durham City & booked a 2.5 hr History/City Tour with walkaboutdurham - highly recommended. Tour Guide Peter is very knowledgeable & so passionate about his job plus he gives everyone a "free" cocktail voucher for Turtle Bay - well deserved after 2.5hrs walking around the City 🤣🤣
