Places to stay in Whiskeytown

My family stayed for a week to be close to my sister during her surgery and recovery. The house was very comfortable for us and we enjoyed being able to walk in the neighborhood and the park at the end of the street.

We had a great time! Very comfortable home just a 1 minute walk to downtown Weaverville. The home was very clean and a great spot to relax. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time here. I was just in Redding for one night and much preferred this experience to the hotels. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive!

This place was fantastic! Super clean, comfortable, and a beautiful location. Very cozy and comfortable when it snows outside, highly recommend staying at the cabin not just during summer and spring but also during the winter seasons. The host was very accommodating and friendly. Would return!

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

Amazing place! Lenore was super thoughtful. The place was cozy. The town is cute. You can see mt shasta from the house which is breath taking!

We had a wonderful stay at "The Resting Place"! The space was exactly what we needed—perfectly sized for our small family of three. It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was also ideal—quiet, yet close to all the spots we wanted to visit. The comfort level was top-notch, with cozy furnishings and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. We also want to highlight how thoughtful our host, Jacque, was. She was very attentive and polite, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. As a lovely touch, she even left a small welcome gift for us—Milano cookies, which just so happened to be my husband’s absolute favorite! We highly recommend "The Resting Place" to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located, and comfortable place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!
