Martina and Gareth were the perfect friendly hosts, made sure everything was fine but never intrusive. The place was just fantastic. Really comfortable and felt like home away from home. A lovely surprise of a superb welcome basket and easy to use kitchen area. Comfy bed and excellent wifi. I really couldn't have asked for a better say. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend staying in Michael’s beautiful and immaculately kept converted Victorian Railway carriage. The carriage is beautiful and very quirky both inside and out. It was very easy to find and recognise from Michael’s directions and pictures. It is set on the side of a quiet village road with a very large field/old orchard at the back, which our 2 dogs absolutely loved. There are also many long walks around the local area on your doorstep. The carriage is in a perfect location for easy access to the surrounding areas of Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Sandringham Palace(must see) and the many beaches around The Wash. Michael is a lovely gentleman and a great host, who popped by to say hello and have a quick chat. Making sure everything was ok and answer any questions we may have had. I highly recommend a stay in Michael’s railway carriage, as it’s a hidden gem and a great place to unwind!

We found the property is very lived in and has a homely relaxed atmosphere about the place…there’s a riding stables at the end of the garden so on Saturdays it’s busy with people coming up & down the drive all day (which lucie told us) however it’s still fairly private…lovely place… We would definitely stay at The Paddocks again…

What a fantastic host! Really enjoyed our stay, it was better than we could have imagined, perfect location, homely, pictures do not do the annexe justice! Julie thought of everything to make it a home from home, we are very thankful and fortunate to find this place! Absolutely spot on, thankyou for your hospitality x
