Monthly Rentals in Whangaehu River

Although we had a quiet rural outlook it was so close to town and in a lovely neighbourhood. Well equipped with generous breakfast provisions. Friendly helpful hosts.

Ross was lovely and actually allowed me to stay in the bigger apartment out of kindness. It was beautiful and I loved the view of the mountain right from the deck.

Annie's place was quiet and tidy and very easy to check in and out. The location was only a couple of minutes from the town centre and was a great place to stay while we did the Tongariro crossing! She was also a very responsive and friendly host and made the whole process seamless. I would highly recommend!

We stayed here to break up a long drive with our 3 young kids. It was great and exactly as described. Christian is right that the bed accessed by a ladder is only suitable for older kids or agile adults - our 5 year old loved climbing up there was wasnt game to sleep there 😂 but the 8 year old loved it. And we squished our portacot into the downstairs room for the baby and it was totally fine. Fun to do something different and the view of the mountain in the morning was sublime
