We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was a beautiful place in peaceful surroundings. The jacuzzi area was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We had a great stay at Richard’s cabin. The hot tub was lovely, the views were beautiful and the cabin itself was very charming. The super king bed was very comfortable and fit all three of us in there! Richard was very welcoming and went through everything with me thoroughly upon on arrival. Highly recommend! Thank you Richard!

Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at this little lodge. Exactly as described in the listing/photos, and Tracey had even set out some little Christmas decorations to make it feel more festive and homely (as we were there for Christmas). The new park facilities (soft play & swimming pool) are FANTASTIC for kids, we were there with our 18 month old and he loved it, but there was loads for older children too. The shop on the site isn’t open between November & February but there’s a co-op a mile away, and we didn’t eat at the restaurant onsite because we went out to some nice local pubs, but it looked nice enough. The lodge is in a really nice position not really overlooked by anyone else, and felt very spacious & homely (with proper central heating too). The hot tub was also a winner! The kitchen is fully equipped and the TV has ALL the apps plus regular freeview TV channels too (I read an earlier review that said no normal TV but this must have been updated!).

Really nice accommodation in a beautiful area!

Duncan and Jackie were very good hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. This included a bottle of cava, card and small birthday cake for my husbands birthday. They provided freshly laid eggs, bread butter jam and milk as well as a cosily furnished log cabin. We were very comfortable.

What a lovely place to stay! Ideally suited for two people, the Den was cosy, warm, tastefully furnished and plenty of facilities. The bathroom was excellent, quite large for the size of the property, very clean and tidy. Ali left us an impressive breakfast hamper with a great choice of foods. Due to an emergency family situation we were unable to stay for the whole visit but we very much enjoyed the time we spent there. Thank you Ali for making us feel so welcome.

My partner and I came here for our first getaway together and could not love it more if we tried!! Clear instructions on how to get there, key outside to let ourselves in, our cabin was spotless and so cozy. Lovely walks in the British countryside, Bourton-on-the-water is about 10/15 minutes down the road so a lovely little village to explore! An amazing price and money well spent, thankyou to the team and we will definitely be back! 😊

The cabin was welcoming, isolated and simply stunning. Belinda was such a lovely host and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were catered for. Her communication was great from the moment I booked up until me leaving. She is such a thoughtful person, giving me directions and local information or pubs and so I could take my two chows on a fantastic walk through the nature reserve. She even provided extra towels for them. I am thankful she kept her eye on the weather as a storm was on its way and when the brook was due to flood. She even advised to move the car so it wouldn’t get stuck. She absolutely went above and beyond during my stay. The array of coffees and teas were spectacular and the cabin was so well catered. The shaved chocolate to sprinkle on top of a hot coffee after a long walk was a delight. The birthday cinnabun and card was an unexpected treat, thank you for that, it made my day. Will be staying again for sure. Thank you so much for making my birthday special

Fantastic cabin in a private area, peaceful and quiet. Went for walks around the lake, chilled in the cabin (super comfortable) and explored local sights (need a car for sure). Can't really walk to anywhere out of the site, or at least it's not obvious but if you have a car no problem. Would definitely come back here again!

A great stay for a weekend away with friends. A really good sized cabin, clean & tidy and a great outdoor space, with garden furniture, to enjoy. Liz & Joe were very friendly and it was a good location to explore the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was perfect. I had a long stay of 9 nights during a pretty chilly period. With the log burner and all the blankets it made a very cosy stay. I wasn't brave enough to use the outdoor shower this time of year but a short walk to the barn with a nice hot shower and kitchen area. it's certainly an off grid experience but with the comfort of amenities close by. Gentle starter if you want to experience that kind of stay. Also sue and her partner were lovely and very helpful throughout. I was very interested on what they do on the farm with producing probiotics so they kindly gave me a mini tour and chats on this. Overall a peaceful experience in a lovely spot by the lake.

Very clean and comfortable place. Enjoyed the stay. Walking distance to shops and to buss stops to Oxford/Abingdon. Plenty of places you can go to from Didcot.

Our stay in Lisa’s gorgeous barn was just perfect! The details of the barn were stunning and we felt very much at home. Upon arrival Lisa greeted us and surprised us with a lovely assortment of goodies and bubbly! Lisa is incredibly kind, helpful with recommendations and very friendly. The location is ideal for exploring lots of Cotswold villages (and we did just that!). We cant wait to return!

Great place to overnight whilst at a nearby music festival. The cabin was comfortable and had all we needed. Nick was helpful and kind and there was even a car space allocated. The gentle noise of the chickens as we ate breakfast outside was a bonus.

Had a fantastic stay. It was all very easy from booking to leaving - text messages explaining book-in etc. This a great location for walks and there are so many walks and Oxford and lots of other Little villages. We even got to Henley on Thames We did not realise we were so close to the White Horse so did a quick visit on our way back from an afternoon in Oxford which ended up in us doing yet another walk on top of our Morning walk on the loop walk around the horse. The garden is amazing and Winston our Labrador has a fabulous time. The garden is all enclosed and private and extremely large! The cabin is very clean, warm, comfortable and it’s great to get a place with a big shower cubicle that is hot, powerful and does not leak… We were here in Winter but intend to come back in the summer and use the outdoor fire pit and sit in the garden while Winston entertains himself Highly recommend

Loved our stay here! Extremely cute location over looking the horses! Host was perfect in communicating how to get there and the check in procedure! The cabin was exactly what we needed. Bed was comfy, bathroom was spotless. Nothing to fault. Would definitely stay again!
