Chalet vacation rentals in Wears Valley

Spacious home in close proximity to town. Plenty of room for our family of 12. The beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The game room was great and utilized every night. Carol was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions we had. By far our favorite thing about this home were all of the bears that visited. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our large family.

Enjoyed this stay, and will definitely recommend to others. I will also look forward to a future stay here!

This place was amazing. It was plenty of room for 8 people and the hot tub was a big hit. It was great location because it was not a far trip from the Gatlinburg strip. The view wasn’t anything just because of the trees but we were not worried about it.

Very cozy cabin. The host was very quick to respond to any question I had. We felt right at home!

The place was great for myself and a few buddies to get away for a short weekend. The place was just as advertised. Perfect table for DnD.

We had a nice stay at Hightop Haven. It was clean & looked exactly like the pictures. Areas for improvement would be to invest in some type of clothing rack or dresser, as there was nowhere to unpack your suitcase. We made due by moving all the decor on the shelving unit to the bottom shelf & using the other areas to store our still folded clothes. Still not ideal, but it beat getting things out of our suitcase. There was no ice so we went without the first night, & the second day got some on our way back from town only to find out there was an icemaker it just had not been turned on. It was raining the first night & there is no roof over the hottub so we weren't able to get in to relax after our long trip. All in all it was a very nice place to stay though. It was secluded with great views but still just a short distance to all of the main attractions. There is a skylight to the left of the bed in the loft that offers some great views upon waking. That was something I really enjoyed

My family and I had an amazing Christmas here! It was very peaceful and private. My boys loved the hot tub very much. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and very roomy and comfortable. It had every appliance that you could ask for. Ample dishes, glasses, utensils and a good amount of supplies to get you started. There were also very nice stainless steel appliances. The views were amazing and we could see where the smoky mountains got their name from. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely breathtaking. It was nice to take a dip in the Jacuzzi, very easy to use. The roads leading up to the ski chalet are not for the faint of heart, be prepared for winding roads with no guardrails in some places. We are flat landers, used to being a foot above sea level. We got used to them by the end of the week. On the nights we wanted to stay in, we used the delivery services in town and they were pretty awesome but you have to order early. We used the South Baden club for pool access, they also had indoor games for the kids like pool, foosball, etc. Ober Gatlinburg was within 2 miles of our ski chalet, and it took you into the town of Gatlinburg via an aerial tram to all the shops and restaurants. This was a beautiful home! Just as described. The only negative feedback would be that the picture of the creek and bridge are not from the property (it’s outside the aquarium). Also, there were pictures shown of pools, tennis quarters and pickleball that aren’t onsite. They’re a mile down the road. I think that should be put into the description so people will know. Other than that, Justin was an excellent host. Even allowed us some extra time at checkout with no extra charge. Would absolutely bring my family back here. Would have liked to be in the clear about the creek we thought was accessible and the pool area that wasn’t directly accessible from the home.

The host was very proactive in making sure everything went smooth from the time of check in to the time of checkout. The place was spot on for just a short weekend stay! The pictures didn’t do this place justice. My family & I will definitely be booking again!

We had a fantastic stay at Amanda's home! We booked very last minute after our original reservation was unexpectedly canceled as we were driving in, and Amanda couldn’t have been more accommodating. Communication was prompt, helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotless and clearly well cared for. But the real highlight was the view—absolutely stunning and even better than the photos. It made for the perfect backdrop to a relaxing getaway. We’re grateful to have found this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home in Gatlinburg. We had some snow and it was so pretty! Kitchen is well stocked, beds are super comfortable, towels are nice. We would definitely stay here again! Archie and Vince were very responsive to questions. Our stay was great!

Great location near everything but also in a quiet neighborhood. Enough space for a family of 5 to spread out. Host was always very responsive to questions before and during our stay. Hot tub was warmed up and table set when we arrived. No regrets!

Owners always communicated and answers any questions. was even great and let us check in a little early and were totally understandable with a dog issue we had. The place was great and we all had something to do whenever there and relaxing. one of the best hosts and house we have had!
