Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

This place was absolutely amazing!! The host was great with a ton of communication and reasonable! Did her absolute best to satisfy our needs and did not disappoint at all!! Definitely am going to book an even longer trip to stay here again!!

This was such a pleasurable experience and a lovely home to stay in. I adore how clean and spacious this home is not to mention such a private/safe type of feel. Such a homey vibe when you are away from home. Communication was super nice and informative. I definitely plan to stay here again in the near future.

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.

Very cozy, cute place. Intimate so me and my boyfriend had a lovely time. Had couple trails which we explored and had a great time. We are considering coming back in the summer.

The place was extremely nice, very clean and comfortable. The lake view is just BEAUTIFUL! Will definitely be booking there again.

We stayed at this Airbnb located in-between Charlotte and Rock Hill, SC for an athletic tournament at Manchester Fields. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were roomy, and the 2.5 bathrooms were a nice bonus. The back yard is cute with grill, fire pit, and soft-side hot tub. This house is located in a cul-de-sac with a suburban feel with drive-to strip malls nearby.

Beautiful clean home, very peaceful environment...amazing scenery, I enjoyed the early morning view of nature in the background. The hot tub was relaxing and an awesome addition to my experience. I left feeling rested, and charged up. The home itself has a great vibe. I enjoyed my stay, it was definitely worth it & well needed. Thanks for having me!

Stay was good. Location, in proximity to where we needed to go, was good. Simple, pretty private and quaint. Won’t mind another stay.😊

Michael was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and responsive and this place was a refuge for our family during home repairs. It had everything we needed to feel at home for a week, and we appreciated the convenient location.

The condo was as described/pictured. It was clean, free of clutter, the kitchen had a nice amount of pots and pans to cook your own meal. Nice washer &dryer, which was nice. The condo is roomy. The wifi worked well. Great safe neighborhood, great for walks! Neighbors were friendly. Close driving distance to shopping, grocery stores , restaurants, banks, gas stations. Felt at home during our stay. Eli is a great host, friendly and quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great stay for my family visiting for the holidays. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of charm! The home was spacious and cute, and exactly what we were expecting. The in unit washer and dryer was very helpful for our extended stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

They were wonderful at communicating and giving extra toilet paper etc, when needed. The place was clean and a wonderful location to get around if walking or needing a Lyft or ride. The neighborhood was clean and the place was cozy. Thank you.

We were in town for admitted student's day at UNCC and Jayne's place is located across from campus. The house is cute with all the listed amenities. My only comment would be that there are a lot of air fresheners in the house. My family didn't notice but I am sensitive. We would stay there again if our daughter commits to UNCC.

Loved staying at the Coliseum Cottage. A cozy, well designed home with lots of comfortable furniture, pillows and blankets. Super close to the coliseum and uptown!

We enjoyed the Airbnb a lot .. it was very clean .. comfortable and convenient to everything .. parking was wonderful .. never had trouble finding parking right infront of the unit.. we would go back next time we are visiting Charlotte 🌺

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jan and Charlie’s place. Their communication was great. The pool house was immaculate and had plenty of thoughtful touches. The cookies were delicious! We especially enjoyed the family history on the walls. Highly recommend a stay here.

From start to finish, this was a positive experience. The home is so lovely I really hated to leave! Also, my sweet pup LOVED being there. 😊🐾💖

nice place in a nice quiet neighborhood

I stayed in Charlotte for 6 weeks to get a feel for living in the city, and Rachel's place was a great introduction to the area. The apartment is a short 10 minute walk to the main bars and restaurants in Uptown Charlotte. There is also a great coffee shop (sneakily also a bar) across the street that I would recommend. Any small issue that arose, Rachel was extremely responsive and everything was solved as soon as it was able to. Overall, very satisfied with my stay at Rachel's apartment!

Our family rented the Fountain of Young over Thanksgiving as a central location to gather 3 generations together. It's ideal for families; there are enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, yet many spaces to gather together. The media room with the projector screen was a huge hit, as was the heated outdoor pool (a perk when most rentals close up their pools once summer is over). We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pits; the private beach and kayaks looked inviting for those renting in warmer weather. There are beautiful views of the lake from many spots along the rear of the house. Lastly I must comment on the kitchen - I have never rented an Air bnb with a better equipped kitchen! Any kitchen gadget you could possibly need is on site. For all the dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc., everything was so clean - they have an awesome cleaning crew. Also love that this rental is green they have detailed recycling instructions.

i had a great stay at josh’s airbnb! he was also extremely responsive no matter what i reached out to about. the space was clean and it was in a prime location. the fridge had water which i really appreciated. you could walk anywhere but also get anywhere via lyft/uber and because the location was so central, it was never expensive. it looked just like the photos. i’d likely stay again next time i’m in a charlotte. this is a great space to stay!

I booked this home so my husband and I could visit our family for the holidays who live about 30 mins away. It was able to accommodate us perfectly. I also have a baby who was able to have an entire nursery to herself which was such a blessing as we wanted her to be comfortable and unaffected. Even though the owners live at the property, the home was absolutely spotless and we felt right at home. They even had a Christmas tree up that we were so excited to gather around on Christmas morning. Very grateful to have found this listing!
