Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Watersmeet Township

Was very impressed by our stay this weekend. First Cabin I have been to and was really looking for that valentines get a way. Michell’s Cabin was definitely the right place and would highly recommend this place towards anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful get away. 10/10

Highlight of the stay was the mattresses. If you suffer from back pain and/or are finicky about your sleep, I recommend this place solely for the mattresses. After the first night, I was pain free after a lot of driving and sleeping in different locations. I know this sounds like a commercial but that made our stay. Ross was responsive and friendly and the garage is very accommodating in the dead of winter in Iron Mountain! House was a little small but otherwise, a great stay.

Billie's Bungalow is in a great location really close to Powderhorn. The House is on a nice dead end street and great for dog walking! The house has a comfy couch and nice area to hang out. We have stayed at 10-12 different chalets/houses near Powderhorn and they are all a bit "1970's", but that is the charm. The kitchen was tiny and the stove old, but it worked. It was great to have the sauna and 2 plus bathrooms. We enjoyed spending time with our family, the dog and skiing in the area!

Love the location and the things to do in the town. This house is perfect for what we needed it for (winter sports/ exploring UP)

Great place, lots of snow, had a blast with the sleds!

The house was very large and the we felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable and the house had all the right amenities. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely wonderful! We travel here for a ski race annually, and this is the best place by far we have ever rented. Clean, modern, and very comfortable. Will definitely plan on staying again next year if it is available!

Felt very lucky to find this place. Thank you to Jen and her family for providing such a great space at a price manageable for even a single person to stay. I especially love the organic farming practices, and how she carried that mindset into the guest space. From the organic soaps to the high quality linens, she had it covered with a very holistic feel. Looking forward to more stays at Jen’s!

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

On a sku trip to the UP, great place to crash, and catch our breath. Wonderful host, will definately book again if I'm in the area.

This is a very nice apartment and we enjoyed our stay here. Accurately described, but I still was pleasantly surprised when seeing it in person. Charming older home on a huge lot and large parking area. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, appliances, etc. We had our young dog with and I appreciated the solid swinging door between the kitchen and living area, allowing me to confine my dog in the kitchen with me while others slept. There was also a large yard for dog walking. But in winter, the snow's pretty deep and the road is pretty busy. So I needed to drive out somewhere to give my dog a mile or 2 walk. Although the upstairs tenants were very quiet and respectful, you could still hear footsteps above. Not a problem if you keep "normal" hours. Hope our pup's yipping some didn't disturb them!

Quick stop and very comfortable stay. Well equipped and decorated. Felt right at home and CJ was very quick respond.

We always enjoy our stay at Susan’s. Her place is very spacious and we always enjoy our visit. The kids love checking out the lake! We enjoy our trips to Eagle River and St Germain for fun activities. Thank you for hospitality! 😀

The location of this cabin was spectacular, close to many trails and short drive into town for restaurants or groceries. The view all around the property was breathtaking and there were so many wonderful amenities provided. We had such a great time and this place helped us unplug and enjoy quality time. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time. If you're able to, add an extra night!

Davids place was wonderful. I love the location right off of the river. The fireplace was lovely. I appreciate that there was a fire going when I got there and the cabin was nice and warm. Can't wait to stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at this cozy cabin in the woods! It was so secluded, tucked back deep in the woods, peaceful and quiet. The ice age trail/Timms Hill trail is literally right out the back door. We went snow shoeing because there was 10 inches of snowfall while we were there. We were surprised that the trails were groomed daily. We were a little afraid that we wouldn’t make it out of the deep snow covered driveway but it was plowed as soon as the snow stopped. The fireplace kept us cozy and the soaking tub was a nice touch. We couldn’t get any cell service but that added to the up north unplugged vibe. Hill of Beans cafe was so beautiful and food was good. We’re definitely going back!

Vicki's home was the perfect getaway I needed from the busy city I currently reside. I arrived with clear easy instructions on finding the area and checking in. Parking is directly in front of the residence with beautiful scenery surrounding me. It was peaceful and quiet. In the morning I found deer passing through the trees. All the amenities listed are available and in working order. Check out was easy. Communication was exactly how I expected it to be, very responsive. Vicki's listing will definitely my "go-to" when I come back to this area.

We had a great stay at Twin Rivers Resort! We came up with snowmobiles and had extremely easy access to the trails (no trailering) with many options on where to go. A super cute supper club was just next door with other bars and restaurants easy to access by sled or car ride. A couple of grocery store options within a short drive made things easy. The kitchen had everything you need and the cabin was cozy and relaxing after a long day of riding. Heidi was helpful and responded quickly when we reached out. We hope to return!
