Houghton vacation rentals

Had a great stay. Location was amazing. Would recommend staying here for a skii trip like we did, or for a summer trip I can only imagine how nice it would be right across from Lake Superior.

The location of this place could not be better. Own private beautiful beach. Hardly saw other people the whole time we were there! If you want a place to get away from it all, this place is it. Lake Superior is a magical place and at Anna’s place you have it all to yourself. We spent the entire time at the lake and it was amazing.

Our stay at Karla and Steve’s was amazing and felt like home. We came here with a group of 8 adults for a sibling ski hill trip in early February. The guys hit up Mount Bohemia and Mont Ripley while the girls did a lot of relaxing with the awesome hottub. We cooked dinner every night because the kitchen is set up super well! We also toured the Quincy Copper Mine which we highly recommend! Next time we will plan more days to do things in the towns nearby. The House is within a 5- 10 minute drive to anywhere which was so convenient! Super well stocked and had anything you could think of. We also didn’t run out of anything even with a big group! The hosts were nextdoor with great communication. Even though it’s a duplex, it still felt like you had your complete private space, along with private outdoor space. There was plenty of parking that was perfectly plowed too! We can’t wait to come back to this new place we can call home!

We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, well-stocked, and filled with thoughtful touches and little surprises that made us feel right at home. It’s perfect for families, with a quiet and peaceful location that allowed us to truly relax. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming getaway!

Our stay here was perfect for our annual ice fishing trip. Convenient location, and the home was clean and clearly well taken care of. We will definitely be returning next year!

Vita, has a Class A place!!! we enjoyed all the little things she did to make us comfortable without being obvious... Handwritten letter, beer, soda, ice in the refrig, great coffee, great breakfast snacks and kitchen you would swear was your own with all of the amenities. Plus theater in the basement, Great outside accommodations, didn't get to use the grill but wanted to. Let's just just say that this home is the Pinnacle of Houghton! My highest recommendation! Bravo!!!!

The Nordic Talo was an amazing place to stay! Our entire family loved it and voted it one of our most favorite Airbnb stays ever. Taylor is a great host and was very responsive and proactive with her communications with us. The location is great...less than 10 minutes from Tech's campus and downtown Hancock and Houghton but also nice and private. Their home is absolutely beautiful and has a lot of room. The gym is well equipped and the sauna is great as well...we used both every day. The kitchen has everything a family needs to make wonderful meals. The home is right on the Keweenaw Waterway and the view is fantastic. The garage is heated and kept our vehicle nice and warm. There was a huge blizzard one of the days we stayed there (The Mackinaw Bridge was closed due to the wind) and we hunkered down and enjoyed fondue while we watched the snow billow down the Keweenaw Waterway. Everything was well thought out and extremely clean. Thanks Taylor and family!

This was first time using an Air BnB, and was quite impressed. Our stay went exactly how we planned it. The owner had good communication throughout the process. The driveway was even cleared of snow that day, which says a lot. The lake house was clean, well kept, and obvious that the owner put a lot of time and money into the home. (I am a residential contractor and know good work when I see it). I will almost indefinitely use this place again. Clean, well kept, and had every amenity that one could ask for in the Upper Peninsula, MIchigan. Highly recommended for future guests.
