Perfect for a couple on a getaway. Even as someone from the area—well the twin cities—I didn’t realize how much would be accessible in this area! We went to the Eagle Center, Pottery Museum, the wisteria twig tea room, maiden rock bluff hike and got a great breakfast in town. Loved everything. The cabin itself was a cozy and cute retreat after many full and busy days.

Sven’s property was idyllic. It connects directly to state park hiking trails, is quiet, and gorgeous. The living spaces were spacious, clean, and comfortable. As for Sven, he was friendly and flexible. For a couple parents and a toddler it was just what we needed. We plan to return.

What a wonderful place to stay! If you're looking for a peaceful, warm and home-like feeling air bnb that's just a short walk/5-minute drive away from the State Park trails - this is for you. Old Frontenac is a welcoming town and the trips to both Red Wing and Lake City are gorgeous. Linda is a kind, responsive and helpful host that does a great job to make you feel right at home. This bnb is a great place to head back to to have a good meal and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable night. Could not recommend enough. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us!

Our family had such a wonderful healing time here. The house felt like an art gallery with so much to see, and it was truly cozy and comfortable. We would love to come back again.
