lovely cottage in a great little village, with local shops and village pub on your doorstep that does tasty, reasonably priced food. Ed was very responsive and everything was as advertised, great place to stay if you want to be near to the university or Falmouth.

Karen is an amazing host. So friendly and welcoming. Easy and prompt communication. Very comfortable chalet with private gardens, everything you need. Great location - beautiful village, shop and pub very close. Good bus connection to Portloe with entertaining bus driver. We spent a few days walking the south west coast path - stunning stretch of coast. Hope to return soon.

Thank you Chris and family for an enjoyable stay. We chose the Lodge at Camels because we wanted to be close to this part of the SWCP, plus it met all our needs, two bedrooms, two bathrooms with walk in showers, one level and parking on site. Chris was available for any questions within a short time and allowed to check in early. An added bonus was the little extras left for us, milk coffee, biscuits and a nice bottle of wine. A lovely touch was the personal welcome postcard. A full book of instructions and recommendations was supplied. Even logs and firefighters for the log burner which made the evenings very cosy with the electric radiant heaters for all round warmth. Everything about the accommodation was as described with everything we needed for our short break, could have stayed longer. If we return to this area in the future, we will definitely look to book again.

Great location for Truro - without a car, 10 mins walk into town and about the same to the railway station. With a car, acess to the rest of Cornwall no problem. Kyra a super host - responded in minutes to all our messages. Highly recommended👍😀
