Karen is an amazing host. So friendly and welcoming. Easy and prompt communication. Very comfortable chalet with private gardens, everything you need. Great location - beautiful village, shop and pub very close. Good bus connection to Portloe with entertaining bus driver. We spent a few days walking the south west coast path - stunning stretch of coast. Hope to return soon.

The Lodge is beautiful and exactly as described with everything you need available via the very responsive and helpful hosts. The location is rural but easy to find and so peaceful if you’re looking to relax. The ideal place to unwind for the new year and we would throughly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all. The views of the sea from the lodge are stunning, we only wish we had more time to explore. Highly recommended and our thanks to the hosts for their help and the warm welcome (plus little bits left for us on arrival).

Loved staying here. The house was delightful - clean, quiet, comfortable and with parking and a lovely outside coutyard overlooking rolling green fields. There was ample storage - in the loft bedroom and under stairs etc. The hosts were also fabulous! They were friendly, helpful, thoughtful, considerate and quick to respond. What's not to love?! I will definitely be staying again.

Great stay with Avril and James. Beautiful area with plenty of walks, Eden project is a 10 mins walk. St Austell is 5 mins in the car. Excellent pizza spot, Salty Bay pizza co is 5 mins drive. WiFi can be slow but Avril had warned be before hand. Awesome stay, highly recommend
