Santa Catalina Cozy Cabana + Ocean View pool

AntjeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed for 2 night at the apartment from Danielle . Vista Coiba is a really nice place to stay. For one more night we stayed at a bigger Appartement which we directly booked at vista Coiba . We nice location. Good breakfast and nice dinner and drinks. The garlic fish with yuca was quite good . Ismael and his team did a great job and at least we went to Isla Coiba with Jorge after recommendation . We saw a lot of turtles and sharks.

Casa La Playa

BillRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Wanted a place near a not crowded beach to spend a week of quality time with the family. Richard’s place was right on target. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but Richard’s lengthy description was spot on in accuracy. He accurately described the lack of nearby places to get groceries and the minimal number of restaurants in the vicinity. Thanks to his info, we easily found a major grocery in route and stocked up on what we would need for the week. Upon arrival, Raphael met us and showed us how to find everything in the well equipped unit and also gave us info on what restaurants were in reasonable driving distance. The only issue of note was the difficulty in regulating the shower temperature, which we learned was a neighborhood issue. In summary, we loved the place - relaxing in the pool, walking the beach, and the warm ocean. Lobster Cove is pretty shallow,so not for surfing or snorkeling, but just fine for us.

Casa De Ola, Jungle Beach Cabin

FilipeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Casa de Ola offered us a great retreat. It truly is off the beaten path and that’s exactly what we were looking for so we had a great time during our stay. Highly recommend Playa plaza. It was our favorite spot. We spent most of our week stay there and hardly ever came across any other people. Most days we had the beach to ourselves. Only things that you should be aware of is that the beach facing Casa de Ola, Mata Oscura, does not allow swimming or surfing. Also that there is no Data/cell phone in the area around the Airbnb. The wifi available in the Airbnb worked fine tho. Asta was our host and she was always helpful with our questions and offered great tips. We appreciated everything and would recommend this stay to anyone looking for an off the grid get away.

White Butterfly Beach House

MadelineRating, 5 stars17 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Mariposa Blanca. When the surf was too rough to play at the beach, we swam in the beautiful pool. All the beach accessories we could need at the house. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools we needed and more! The beds were comfortable and the location is so beautiful and peaceful. The covered patio allowed us to use the outside space whether it was sunny or raining. The road in isn't in tge best repair but the directions we received before arriving helped us get there easily. We hope to visit again!

Comfortable, modern house - breathtaking sea view

VickyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I defintely echo all previous guest comments! Gisela & Guido are a semi retired Professional couple focused on providing the same positive experience as they wish for in their own travels. You ask, they provide … stylishly! They each bring superior talents for a balanced team that has built love into their properties. An added benefit is how the expat community is expanding around Torio to provide dining experiences brought from their individual Countries. I especially enjoyed the fresh fish opportunities that were NOT available on the Caribbean side around the Bocas. I was w/them for six weeks and NOT ready to leave!

Casa Bonita at Hermosa Bay, Chiriqui.

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Modern new house with a beautiful view of Hermosa Bay. Fully equipped kitchen, inviting, nicely decorated. Great pool with a beautiful patio area. A 10 min Walk down to the beach, interesting walks at low tide ( seashells) . You can hear the howler monkeys, they are in the jungle further down the beach. Short drive to Boca Chica where you can find a few restaurants and also boat taxis to get across to Boca Brava island. We also did a day excursion to visit 3 islands and do some snorkelling. We used Boca Brava Adventures and enjoyed the day. Our favourite restaurant was at Bocas del Mar resort. Amazing food at reasonable prices. We got take-out a few times. Marcus was very welcoming. We highly recommend the place.

Torio Creative Reatreat Immersed in Forest

BrandyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Casa Nance was an absolute pleasure! We loved all the natural elements within the home and the natural light coming in through the highlight windows. Tucked amongst a myriad of tropical plants, Fernandas home offered views of the jungle and garden from every window. We spotted numerous types of birds and butterflies and the books provided allowed us to attempt to identify them. While the home is considered an eco conscious build, it was not without modern features and amenities. We were thrilled to be able to wash and dry our laundry in the utility room tucked around the corner of the terrace near the thoughtful outdoor kitchen space. The outdoor furniture provided plenty of space for dining and relaxing in the fresh air and the hammock was a simple yet invaluable addition. We felt refreshed and inspired after staying at Casa Nance and were regretful that we hadn't chosen to stay longer.

Casa Tropical- Private Home in Santa Catalina

LoisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hosts Cedric and Elaina were incredibly responsive and helpful, arranging drivers and transportation, giving local recommendations, answering all our questions timely, etc! Thx to Elaina for coming to our rescue the last day. I referred to their guidebook inside the house constantly, ie where to go, where to eat, and local walking paths. The kitchen was well stocked and organized and easy to use. My husband spent a lot of time reading on the patio surrounded by lovely plants, and we used the clothesline a lot to hang our wet clothing. Next door is a local store where we bought supplies, wine and rum. Three of the 4 nights we patronized a locally recommended restaurant overlooking the sea, Pacquinos (sp?), run by an Italian, Lucca, a great chef and very friendly guy. The whole fish and pasta was amazing. The only reason I gave a 4 star vs a 5 star re. location has nothing to do with the house, but the fact that I disliked the black sand beach, and trash on the side of the road.
