We really enjoyed staying here! It is in a perfect location where you can walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking around in the morning and finding a new place to get coffee and food. The room is quite roomy with a living room and bedroom. It was very clean and the AC was a nice plus during the heat wave.

Great place off the beaten path to crash for a night.

Cynthia is very responsive. The rooms are clean and the location is walking distance to everything. The elevator are slow and often crowded, but the stairs worked perfectly to get up and down. The pool and jacuzzi was nice to use at the end of the day.

My delightful adventure at Princess and the Pea began when I discovered their lovely website. Talk about stepping back in time! The photos alone reminded me of my growing up years in the country. My goal was to write. And this was the perfect environment to do just that. So I nestled in and wrote to my heart's content. I loved being treated like a princess, sleeping in a luxurious bed, bathing in a soaker tub, and sipping home-brewed coffee while munching on a five-star breakfast. Each and every day. An enjoyable stay with very easy access. The place is above an excellent restaurant for lunch or breakfast.

I stayed at Margaret’s Bed and Breakfast for 8 nights and it felt like a home away from home. I loved Margaret. She is a wonderful woman, so warm and friendly and she has kept her home exactly the same too-warm, welcoming, so neat and clean. Each room in the house has a theme and is cozy with all amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. She would make a wholesome delicious breakfast for all the guests by herself which she would serve between 9-10am every morning. Everyone would gather in her kitchen, sitting on the dining table or kitchen bar and exchange conversations and stories about where they were from and where they were going. These mornings have been one of the most enjoyable parts of my stay here. The location is in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood just a street above the esplanade. Its a lovely 15 mins walk to Lonsdale Avenue which has many shops and restaurants. There r some restaurants even closer than that too, 2 lanes away. I will surely stay here again!

Front desk Cassie was very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Our place was easy to get to and very large, two tvs , very comfy clean bed, great kitchen with all the cooking supplies. Hot tub and pool were not available so we were able to go next door and use the spotless hot tub there. Parking close to entrance. Sunset across the street with nice walking path. This is one of the best bnbs we’ve used, reasonably priced. Hope we can return some day!

loved our stay here. beautiful location with ocean view right out the windows! the only thing i didn't like was trying to figure out the wifi... seems like you have to pay extra for that 😮

I own and run an Airbnb so I would say I’m pretty picky about where I stay and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Me and my sisters were traveling to Canada and this place was perfect for us. It was huge enough beds for us. All it was clean. It had everything we needed. I wish we could’ve stayed for a week instead of just two nights.
