Whistlepig Farm! 20 min Avl/10 min BR Pkwy/7 acres

ShawnRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Anne was prompt in her responses and very accommodating to our needs. We checked in a bit later than we hoped due to some bad traffic/ weather and we were met with warmth and understanding in our inquiries regarding check in details. Their home is very cozy and the environment is very serene. Our kids loved the swing out front "kids meeting area" up stairs.

The Homestead in Franklin, NC

MaryRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our second visit to this peaceful cabin. The hosts are wonderful and made the trip extra special for our birthday girl. We explored nearby towns of Dillsboro and Bryson. Wonderful restaurants and local shops. We drove ‘the tail of the dragon’ on our route in. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. Looking forward to coming again.

Home on the farm

Ellamarie JeanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Hospitality was superb! Felt so welcomed. The hot tub was perfect. Ruth and Robert have added so many little touches like a nice bottle of wine to enjoy while in the hot tub. Morning coffee was especially nice on the porch. The screened porch was amazing too. While on the golf cart out on the property we saw deer and so many birds. The stream is so relaxing. We heard an owl one evening and counted 12 cardinals in the bush next to the hot tub. Biggest bluegill and bass down at the pond and boy do they love to be fed.

Mountain Haven Retreat 7 minutes from Brevard

SenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin was beautiful and quiet which is what we wanted. I loved the decor especially the quilt that hung on the wall and the double sided fireplace was cozy on the cold nights. The cabin was close to Brevard and many hiking trails. Melissa was a great host, she answered all my questions. I will definitely stay here again.

Franklin Farmhouse with a View

MonikaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
First of all, let me start with saying that Margaret is an absolutely FANTASTIC host. I messed up my departure date and didn’t realize it until the day of, after check out time (first time that has ever happened to me, horrible!😭) and she was SO HELPFUL, so understanding and just the absolute best!!❤️❤️❤️ Margaret’s place is very cute and neat. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need (the big Christmas mugs were my favorite!). I loved all the fluffy blankets and the electric fireplace was a nice touch too, since it was really cold this week. The view over the mountains and pastures is really pretty too and the house is very centrally located, close to Franklin but in a quiet area.

*HOT TUB!* Mountain Views & Tranquil Surroundings

WyattRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
You can't say this often but the actual experience at Vincent's place exceeded the pictures. The pictures made it look beautiful, but in person it was even better. Our kids loved the hot tub. We had more than enough room. Check in was easy and there were great restaurants nearby. We did the Biltmore house as well as a day in Greenville, SC, and both were very convenient from the house. We loved our stay!

Barton Cottage at Blantyre

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This beautiful and cozy home had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Our kids absolutely loved the outdoor space and the inside was clean with all the amenities we needed. Doris and Shanna really thought of everything and left little touches that meant a lot- s’mores ingredients and sparklers for the kids, comfortable bedding with extra blankets, family games etc. It’s been our favorite place we’ve stayed at thus far. We felt secluded but it was only a quick drive for food and outdoor adventures. If you want a mountain retreat to refresh your soul, look no further!

Loved the room, the bathroom is separate. It has its own water closet so even when a couple is sleeping there together, you still have some privacy. The back porch and the view is beautiful. Sandy is welcoming, kind, considerate, friendly. There was plenty of room to walk our dog and the sunrise was spectacular. If you stay there, get a cup of coffee and go watch itwe will come back.

Modern Mountain Getaway. Quiet & close to town.

LizaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The house was an absolute gem! Clean, charming, and all the amenities for relaxing in the mountains—large outdoor deck with beautiful views, spacious fire pit area, large hammock in the screened-in porch. We had our two young children with us, and the TV loft stocked with tons of board games and puzzles was perfect for when we weren’t outside. The host stayed in great communication during our stay, and made sure we always had everything we needed. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful area, but close enough to town (Cashiers and Highlands) for restaurants, groceries, and activities. We will definitely be back!

Woodland Loft 3

JayleahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is our 4th time staying in the Watershed lofts and we enjoyed ourselves yet again. Usually we choose to come during the winter but it was nice being able to sit outside and enjoy the private deck this time. We always enjoy hiking the property since the National Park isn’t dog friendly. We love grabbing coffee in the morning at Cardinal Coffee at the bottom of the property and our favorite restaurant in the area is without a doubt is The Bistro at the Everett Hotel. Definitely recommend both of those spots! Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

A spacious cottage with gorgeous Mountain Views!

BlaneyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay. The pictures do not do this place justice. The house is nestled in a beautiful little area with gorgeous Mountain Views. So serene and quiet. The house is so super cute and felt like home away from home and it was extremely clean. We cooked a few meals there and had everything we needed for cooking. This is for sure my new favorite place to stay in Franklin. Thanks Robbie for being an amazing host!

Plumfield

MarieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our group of 4 long term friends met up in Greenville to celebrate a special birthday. Our stay at Ann and Mike’s lovely home was one of the highlights. Their cozy home had every amenity one could possibly need or want. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking items and plenty of condiments and spices for cooking. And of course a supply of carrots to feed the sheep in their pasture. There was plenty of space to spread out. The beds were very comfortable and the linens luxurious. The house was conveniently located to enjoy restaurants and activities in both Travelers Rest and Greenville. Ann was super responsive to our requests, even allowing us early entry and a later checkout to accommodate our flights to and from GSP. Her recommendations were helpful and her guidebook was very informative especially with our checkout instructions. We cannot wait to return to the area again and plan to stay at Plumfield again if it is available! Thank you so much Mike and Ann!
