Vacation rentals with lake access in Union County

We had such an amazing stay on Brians farm! We got to look out and see cows and rolling hills from our front porch, and the donkey kept us laughing the entire trip. We had such a great time exploring the property and running through the fields. The property was beautiful and the accommodations were top notch. Brian was super responsive and helpful. 10/10

If you want an isolated house with a nice lake then I 100% suggest getting it. We noticed they have another property on the land so you have to know which house you booked or you could get confused. Driving down the road you have to slow down so you will not miss your turn onto the land. I wish they had a big landmark to show you where your turn was at or lights at night. Other than that, it was really great, peaceful and worth it. I will say it is about 15 to 20 minutes away from the main areas/ city. The host is nice, when we need an extra time, he gave it to us for checkout. The bathrooms were beautiful and the house was really up-to-date from the inside. Lastly, if you like sitting outside, they have a bunch of seats and swings and even seats on the dock

Frank’s place was very comfortable. It had everything we needed. We appreciated that it was easy to get to downtown Charlotte but still in a peaceful, leafy setting. We enjoyed the novelty of the dome and had a lot of fun staying there. We were hoping to enjoy the outside amenities more, but there is currently a burn ban in NC. Frank was quick to respond when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. This place was only 17 minutes from IKEA so we stopped there on the way home.

The house was beautiful. I loved the man cave. The neighbors were friendly. I would definitely say again.

What an amazing place! We selected this location because it was only 13 miles from Wingate University. Our daughter who plays lacrosse needed knee surgery and we needed a place to stay to help her through recovery. First, Pops was very prompt with communication via email and or texts. He also was very accommodating offering to get a small grill for us, came and adjusted the ceiling fans, and even dropped off laundry detergent so we could do our wash. Second, the home was very clean, spacious, and felt like home. Sleeping was no problem even for my daughter after her surgery. There were plenty of blankets in the bedrooms, clean linens, and the kitchen was nicely stocked which allowed us to cook some delicious homemade meals. And lastly, if you're looking for a home to reset and relax this is your place. We caught several nice size bass while helping our daughter recover in a serene location. Thank you for creating this place and your hospitality! Will definitely stay again.

We needed someplace last minute in the middle of the night and pops quickly accommodated us with no problem. It was very peaceful. My family enjoyed being able to sit at the lake. Would highly recommend

Our visit to Waxhaw was amazing and the home suited our needs for our family gathering just perfectly! We enjoyed the sauna early mornings and loved keeping warm by the fire at night. 10/10 would recommend!

We came from hot hot Arizona. The weather was great - Danny did good. The solitude with the covered dock was unbelievable. My husband is a die hard fisherman and he was not disappointed. My daughter got addicted to fishing too!. Cooking burgers on the dock with sun going down was just perfect. We hope to make another trip in the future.
